Ahh what memories of a lovely voice - I remember him passing me as I rode home from the local swimming baths on my bicycle, on a Summers evening, he was in a turquoise Ford Zepha soft top car, in St Anne’s in Lancashire in about 57/58ish, before he turned into to the then Chadwick Hotel - I was 17 and couldn’t believe my eyes when he waved to me -never forgot those smiling eyes ahhh memories 😂😂
