So you've finally reached Japan's most overtalented super band helmed by the legendary queen of fusion music. Their music videos and studio recordings don't do them enough justice since they are way better live. They mix their songs in their concerts that they are so unpredictable to the point they re-arrange their songs almost completely only for their live performances. And of course, this band is born from the queen, Ringo Shiina's mind. Honestly, they are the most eclectic band in Japan. They also have english songs and even some english versions of their songs. The whole discography is in another level, including Ringo Shiina's solo artist songs which ranges over 250+ songs of all genres of music. I recommend their song 能動的三分間 (Noudouteki Sanpunkan) or Active Three Minutes, which is really 3:00 minutes sharp. Or if you want a rock song from them, 群青日和(Gunjou Biyori) or 電波通信 (Denpa Tsuushin).

Ringo Shiina (vo) is very famous in Japan. Maximum the Hormone, Band-Maid or Lovebites are not so well known to people who are not interested in that kind of music. Yooo...shout out to you guys giving a look at Tokyo Jihen (pronouce:Jeehand) or Tokyo Incidents. This band consist of BIG names in Japan music industry which only started as a side project from the singer Shiina Ringo (pronounce: Sheena Reengo), Ukigumo on Guitar, Seiji Kameda on Bass, Izawa on Piano/Keys and Toshiki Hata on Drum. Their music mostly a mix of jazz, rock, beebop, swing and pop. They've been around since 2003. You might want to check out some of their older songs such as Sounan, Himitsu or even OSCA. You might get a different vibe from them which is more groovy and exciting. Nice choice of band by the way...love it.

@@dicodec THIS. This is what I searched the comments for. Why are people not recommending Honnou more? It's the song that got me hooked on Japanese music in the first place. Her albums have evolved since her Rock days, as has her voice ( VERY interesting story behind it in fact). So I would recommend the Honnou MV and Koko De Kiss Shite MV. Really shows off her unique vocals.
