In His stuff with Elizabeth from the charismatic voice they Go in depth about the vocal technique. I believe they have a video where they went to a doctor and they put a camera down his throat to see what his vocal cords were doing Why he was doing the different screams.
@pppoopoo-fo3ie11 ай бұрын
they didnt really go in depht into technique, it kind of just spread old misinformation, though the laryngoscopy is interesting and a really good video, aside from Will Ramos confusing the terms falsecord and fry

Several people are saying check out Will's interview with Elizabeth from the Charismatic Voice and that's great, but he also does some reactions with her and he's also incredibly funny and insightful about music. He reminds me of a puppy that's just happy to be there and learn everything he can. If he doesn't know something, he asks questions, etc. Something you wouldn't expect from such a hardcore vocalist. Never has an attitude or ego, etc. It's really refreshing.
@YoonSpirals10 ай бұрын
I saw an interview he did where he talked about how they purposefully built this song with the structure of a pop song! And it’s such like genius to incorporate that it made even a lot of people not into this genre enjoy it!!!

Oh no, you’re going to react to Pain Remains (awesome trilogy btw) and bring in all the Lorna hubbers. Who will then get you to react to Sleep Token, and once that happens, the collision of the Babymetal cult and the ST cult into one comment section is going to BREAK THE INTERNET! Hold onto your butts! Also as for the song, yes the catchy melodies on top of deathcore is the main reason why I like Lorna Shore so much. Although Will’s vocals being very technical is a nice touch, the melody is what gets me.

You really know your stuff, and it cool to hear you nerd out over the production, and hard work that goes into making music. A. Sorry, I couldn't do this one. That audio is too isolating for me. I know the song extremely well, but it's hard to hear exactly what you're talking about/referring to in the examples you're showing and it's kind of making the analysis feel disconnected. Like watching live sports with the commentary delayed a bit. All good, shit happens, just saying. B. Check out the song 'Wrath' by Lorna Shore. That song doesn't get enough love and it absolutely destroys ass. VERY unique subs. C. Their 'Maleficium' EP (Tom era) is also really good.

As much as I love STP and Alex…..the vocal comparison you made at 4:00 is not acceptable. Your instrumental breakdowns are on point as you validate them with isolations etc, however Will is a far superior vocalist, IMHO, and if you are going to make the statement that they are on par, why not isolate and compare? I enjoy your channel and appreciate your opinion however, I feel like that statement is a bit of a stretch. . Alex is incredible doing what he does, however it is not on Will’s level.
