Zetsubou is despair in japanese also this song really reflects Death Note a lot and mentions KIRA. Kira kills the people with the death note and that's what you see when they show the random person scribbling in a notebook. Unless you dont already know x.x

If you want to hear more of Nao, their drummer, I absolutely recommend the songs Shimi and Buiikikaesu. To my knowledge Shimi does not have a music video, however does exist on KZbin in the form of AMVs. Buiikikaesu does have a music video however it is not on KZbin and you would have to go somewhere else to watch it.

This song was actually used for the Death Note anime (I think it was the opening or ending? lol I forgot), from what I can break down, the music video is about the protagonist (Kira) switching through different channels on the television and writing down the names of all those other bands/hip-hop artists/etc. on his Death Note (basically killing them), and only leaving Maximum The Hormone alive (not entirely sure about this explanation tho). Great reaction guys, and I can relate to Alan being confused on the first half too lol, Also, I'd like to suggest Koi no Sperm by MTH! cheers, and stay safe

After all, MTH made their songs in a sense quite obediently IMO 'Hungry Pride' has been a CM song for Cup Noodle, and 'hungry' was the catchphrase of the product. And this song is for 'Death Note', and the MV traces the main plot of the animation. MTH can use several music styles and voices in one song, so, they can express several characters or opinions and let them argue and fight in one song like 'Menkata Cottelee'. So they can also express a development of thought from the beginning to the end in one song like 'Yoshu Fukushu'. And even they can make some kind of a joke skit in one song like 'Alien'.

絶望billy means litearlly "billy (with) despair" . I'm not a main language speaker in english though, so whatever the most natural way of saying that someone has despair, is a right translation, because of how the grammar works in japanese, they have no grammar words, they have "particles" that convey "context" about the words, and when there is no "particles" to convey the right "context" they smash the words together, like here. so the right translation always becomes the one that in the most natural way, convey the same thing. In other words saying "with" might be wrong to say in english, but it's something like that in case it is wrong. lol. bottom line, billy has despair. that's really all u gotta know xD
