Fantastic video - will be sure to watch more from your channel! Quick question: You say the size of images being saved will constantly go up. What does this mean? If I save, say a cardiac CT in DICOM, the actual size of the file will increase over time?

Thanks. For any given exam the size stays the same but if you go back in 10 years the file size may be larger as matrix sizes are going up and spectral CT makes more images

Wonderful videos! I just need a little help with understanding with no formal education on the subject. I am a farrier looking to get my own X-ray equipment I have found a dicom software where I can upload dicom images from cd, flash drive, folder etc. My question is do I need software to get the image from my detector panel to my laptop?

Yeah you will need a frame grabber software to capture the image likely
