I would take it a step further and not assume that this is an intentional conman but that he may be actively trying to channel prophesies and the Devil is more than willing to indulge him with some truths mixed in with all the lies. We’ve been told that the Devil would mascarade as an angel of light and so many have been deceived. While we have been given prophetic gifts by the Holy Spirit, I believe prophecy must both be given freely by God (not sought after actively) and also point people back to God.

I get what you're trying to warn us for but I don't believe the Devil has that knowledge to see beyond the constraint of time, as that power belongs only to God, who is the Creator of the universe including the Devil.

@@d.a.tsun5104 As an ex new ager who heard many accurate predictions from all sorts of seers (mediums, astrologers, etc) it’s scary how easily one can be deceived and I do believe that the information wasn’t being given by God. I don’t know the source of the information but I do know that I received many accurate predictions along with false predictions but enough true ones that I was deceived for years. Praise God that I was brought out of the deception. I always worry when I see Christians not taking mediums seriously (like when it was mentioned that it was likely a cold reading). In my experience, messages were very detailed and not as vague as some think. Of course I don’t know but I can only assume the Devil as the goal was to deceive and keep people away from God and seeking their own knowledge.

I saw another news youtuber I watch also claim it was a prophecy but the problem is the guy said the shot went past Trump's ear not hit it. He also said it damaged his eardrum iirc. And the youtuber said that this was all true and that the person who made the claim also said Trump got hit the ear. But he never said that. For me to consider something to be a prophecy in this instance, it should have specifically said how it hit Trump's ear. I wasn't happy seeing people push this as being anything. It just makes the religious right look bad. The whole situation already a good example of divine intervention that we don't need to lessen that with close but unspecific predictions.

Faith healers do this as well. Mostly Protestant but I’ve seen a Catholic evangelist do it to. “There is someone over in this are that has headaches!’

We don't need a Prophet for this beyond the great Dr Carl Jung. The collective unconscious of Germany was formed by the archetypal Pagan mythology, which projected itself as the manifestation of Odin in the person of Hitler. Similarly, Trump represents the Zeitgeist of American Religion formed primarily by Protestantism (specifically a mixture of Folk Calvinism and Prosperity Gospels). We essentially "created" this event by way of projection. Because of its intensity, it's no surprise there are "echoes" (eg, the fireman being killed, Biden stepping down, and probably several more we shall soon observe)

I wonder if this guy was in the prophecy business before the rise of trump and social media platforms like You Tube? I sometimes refer to our current time as The Age of Stupid because I feel a bit like Rip Van Winkel only I didn't wake up 20 years in the future, I woke up and discovered I was living in a Far Side cartoon. But it's also the age of the grifter. The best thing to do is ignore them. No clicks, no payoff. When you live in a society where people will tell you a man can menstruate and will claim it can be backed up by science, everything is up for grabs, including prophecy to support the idolatry of our times. Just based off what Jimmy said the guy claimed common sense could tell you something was going to happen sooner rather than later and as for the economic collapse given our national debt that’s just a matter of when not if. I have to say looking purely through a lens of faith I’m very uncomfortable with how Trump has been played up into a messianic figure and some of the other language used. I don’t claim to speak for God by any means, it seems to me though some caution and restraint would be a good idea in many of the things said and apparently believed. That’s just me though.

Prophecy is a very ignored, underutilised and also misunderstood charism of the Holy Spirit in the modern Catholic Church. Like the prophets of old saints and mystics are the prophets of the New Israel. The charism of Prophecy should be cultivated and appreciated as a way God continues to speak to His people and help us stay on the Path of Righteousness. Every Bishop should seek the prophetic gift like St Paul exhorted the Corinthians

Not all Christians assume like that. The Bible even says to “test the spirits”/discern if they’re true/from God. It doesn’t say to accept everything without good cause.
