Did Asbury Spark the Next Great Awakening? 'The Time Is Now; the Kingdom of God Is Here'

The revival that began at Asbury University two weeks ago shows no signs of slowing down, growing outward to more and more college campuses across the nation. Flames from the Asbury Awakening have spread like wildfire as the Holy Spirit continues to fill students' hearts and minds across the country.
Fifteen straight days of revival at Asbury culminated with the university hosting the 200th anniversary of the National Collegiate Day of Prayer.
"You have met us here and reminded the world that you are the risen Lord, and we pray tonight, and we dedicate this night to you to ignite a fire throughout this country," prayed one of the speakers at the final Asbury event.

I can back that up. I have something I rather not go into that is passing away. I thought I heard God say to me one day I'm, " making it new or removing it form you ". I quickly dismissed it, but as the days passed and this problem got better and better I slowly am coming to believe. I'm a Christian, I believe in Jesus Christ. It's just it's been over twenty years, and a hard hard road. So it looks like it, and I hope other areas start to work out too in my life. I hope! Because I'm at the place were "hope has been deferred" and my "heart is definitely sick"

The day before I shared the gospel to a third year student in my major at the BUS STOP out of all places on my campus in HK, just because the next bus was due in 12 mins, enough for me to chat with him! And a group of non-Christian students (and obviously some helpers who are Christians) stayed at the common area of Shaw Auditorium after the innerspark gathering last night ended at 9. They ended up watching the first Alpha episode together and had great discussion. I can't believe what just happened in my university in the past 2 days. It's notorious for heavy workload and now maybe a coming of the Holy Spirit... Praise the Lord!

I was baptized about a year ago but not long after that I was still the same person. I was committing sin willfully. But about 4 months ago I kept getting this guy feeling that I need to read my Bible. Remind you I had a brand new Bible just collecting dust never opened. Well I began reading it and since then I haven’t stopped. Now I’m at the point where my eyes are more opened and I see it’s the only way we should live. I’m even frustrated with myself I can’t remember Bible quotes or where exactly I read a certain verse at. And it’s just amazing to me that I was having a gut feeling to read my word and then all this revival starts to happen and it just amazes me, was god almighty really speaking to me ? Or was it coincidence? I’ve prayed and prayed to Jesus to forgive me and that I accept him as lord , but does he forgive me even tho I had already accepted him but turned back to sin? I feel the only reason I turned to sin was the first time I didn’t fully understand what it meant to accept Christ,

We shall see if it comes to Michigan State University, especially in the wake of the terrible shootings on campus three weeks ago. It has really shaken up the MSU community and the town of E. Lansing which is right across the street from where the shooting took place. They felt the area was immune from such a thing because they were so WOKE. Prey that revival comes to this area! Amen.
