Very well put Todd... I am in total agreement...Fifty years ago I was on the fast track in the corporate world. Traveling world wide at the age of 29 putting deals together for a major computer company.. ......... Then in the space of maybe 30 minutes all of that changed. I was involved in a very bad boating accident in which my wife was killed and I almost died but was revived.... While I was in the water and smashing against the rocks, I realized I was going to die and separated from my body which I could see in the water struggling.. A classic NDE or OBE. (I knew nothing of these things at the time) I was in the tunnel shooting to the indescribable bright light. The sensation of acceleration was so powerful. It was like being shot out of a cannon. When I arrived in the light I was feeling so blissful and a complete sense of peace and serenity ................ Then I experienced a inner voice or a "knowingness" which said I had to go back it was not my "time".... I tried to stay in that place in the light but to no avail... Next thing I know I'm back in my body having been revived by rescuers who say the accident.. There is more to the story but sad to say, my wife did not survive.... But I can say this. That incident totally changed my life and put me on a very different life path... The goal of material gain left me and I pursued a more spiritual path but even so, I have NEVER been in need of money and have a very nice life style. ........ The fear of death is totally gone... My philosophy for people with a busy lifestyle is to set aside some time to work on being "self aware". Learn techniques to slow the inner dialog our minds are always giving us. This can be done via meditation or hemi-synch technology or yoga or various other methods...... Again... Great video and good advice Todd... Thank You..... Peace :)

Now it's meaning and experience that enriches my life. My dad is 66 and just doesn’t get it, and I’m 35 and it’s clear to me… and we both had pretty bad childhoods etc. I just wonder what gets in the way for people that it takes so long to realize that the answer is simple…. A change of perspective, a realization. Or maybe it’s not that anything is in the way. He could be happy though., and there’s no way to help him realize.

Try and find a way to honor the love that you and your wife shared. The pain does not really go away. You will learn to live with it, as I am living with it 4 years later. Try and move your life forward. It’s what your wife would want for you. All things must pass, be kind, be humble as you try and move forward. Try and find some meaning in this new life. You never asked for this and neither did I. And we hope that maybe one day you will see her again. That’s what I tell myself. I ask myself everyday where she has gone? Can she see me? Can she hear me? Life truly takes on another perspective after a loss of a spouse. Try and be strong for you and for your wife, because that’s what she would want for you.

Followers of sanatan dharma ( hindusm, sikhism, Buddhism, jainism) have known it very well since the beginning. Death of the body isn't the end of the journey. 'Death, The Great Adventure,' is a book written by Alice Bailey and Djwhal Khul who informed the world of The Ageless Wisdom Teachings. (Published by the Lucis Press/Lucis publishing Company.) "Our ideas about death have been erroneous: we have looked upon it as the great and ultimate terror, whereas in reality it is the great escape, the entrance into a fuller measure of activity, and the release of the life form from the crystallised vehicle and an inadequate form". In the book there is a detailed, deep and esoteric explanation about death and dying from a physical, Soul and Spiritual point of view.

All branches of sanatan dharma can hve little difference but their base nd core truth is same. Buddha said there is no permanent soul . Yes this is absolutely correct because the nature of soul is permanent but consciousness is nt . U can not escape ur karma. In Buddhism it is believe that when someone dies, they will be reborn again as something else. What they are reborn as depends on their actions in their previous life (kamma ). The cycle of rebirth is called samsara and it is an ongoing cycle of life, death and rebirth. Once Buddha said there is no God but in another incident he answered to someone that yes there is God. He always answered depending on the consciousness/ capability of the person. 5:11 This really got to me; the concept of ownership. In Sweden, where I live, we've historically had this idea that society belongs to all, that we collectively own schools, hospitals, nursing homes etc, and that these shouldn't be businesses, but rather public services. I like this idea. Another thought about ownership: I have had an especially hard time grasping when people refer to themselves as "pet owners". Owning another living, feeling being is a vulgar concept to me. I adopted a rabbit (named Charlie) about 2 years ago and I see myself as a parent, not an owner. And as a parent I wish the best for Charlie, and would never abandon him or "throw him away" if I got tired of him. I treat him like family and makes sure that he has a good life. Unfortunately, as a culture we're accustomed to view animals as property, and treat them accordingly. Great documentary! Much love❤ // Nicklas, from Sweden

I've seen this over and over, to the point I don't think most people are attracted to a spiritual life path until they've had something that is so traumatic or so difficult as a human to deal with to make them search in places we haven't been taught or wanted to before. That is how my journey started, by having Lyme go undiagnosed for 2 decades causing my health to spiral downward terribly. My spiritual healing was the best thing that ever happened in my life. And still even after people see it, they are still not drawn to that path until the suffering is beyond what they can handle in their own lives.

I think we are on similar pathsJust found out a few months ago that I have tested positive for Borrelia IgG antibodies, luckily no symptoms yet but starting my healing and spiritual journey now, as I realize things can change so quickly... I also promised my chihuahua when he passed away 2 months ago ( yes, I talk to him every day) that I would take all those steps I've been putting off to help my Spirit grow and fulfill the lessons I came here for and that he and I will meet again after the work has been done...His death was extremely traumatic, and Ive NEVER felt so alone, but I understand it better now...I hope you are healing and I wish you well!

There is much suffering in the world, naughty humans have destroyed the planet, enslaved humans and tortured for greed…. On the other end there are wise, compassionate, and kind humans that maintain the balance. It’s been like that since time immemorial and most likely will always be that way. All I know is that now and here or nowhere and all-ways I AM and You Are. Our connection is effortless, flawless, timeless, spaceless. Had the opportunity in Alaska to build a skiff. I got lofting plans from the library and sketched it out. Hmm. I met a man with a workshop and combination saw. He said I could build the skiff there. I bought some boards and some plywood. Hmm. Started cutting and fitting and over the winter, built the most beautiful lapstrake, with just 'What should I do today?" Then found real copper rivets in an old box, and out in the tundra, a keg of shellac sitting there! Then a neighbor sold me a motor. It was the most wonderful time. It took me out in the summer twilight with a full moon. Set a gill net near a stream, and down deep in the black water, ghostly green shimmering shapes as salmon snagged up. Took that first catch back home, and gave some to an old Aleut who had told me to 'go build a skiff'.

It is the attempt to put a label to that which cannot be named, to try to explain that which is beyond description. My most profound experiences have occurred when I dropped all concepts, names, labels, words, and descriptions. If you can find those moments, you will have a true realization that can never come from anything external. --- Drop everything till there is nothing left to drop, and you will realize that you already are everything. one has to go through an incident that was deeply personal to reach this realization. I was diagnosed with suspicion of blood cancer. I lost so much blood that my doctors had a hard time explaining. My red blood palettes suddenly went below the average level for an adult. My doctors said I shouldn't be alive. Within 5 days in hospital I was rushed to go for full blood transfusion. That was my moment of realization. After that I took 2 months hiatus in life. Shut myself down to annonimity. Lived in a foreign city where nobody knew me and I didn't speak the language. And I took another 6 months to emotionally recover from everything that had happened to me. It was a very lonely period. Imma different person now. Quiet. Low key. Live a simple life. I'm stronger emotionally now. 180 degrees from who I was before. The total opposite. I'm at peace with myself now.

Old soul in a youthful body, great video. i lost my wife 7 months ago just right after our 20th anniversary and let me tell you devastatingly crushed. I am on the right track now but how the universe could take such a shift and my best friend, soul mate, wife and confidant could be here one minute and then not was an awakening. Thru a bit of soul searching, reaching out to discuss attempting to fill the void the clouds have finally began to lift and its been a path. stay well--thanks for posting the video.

Yes, aloneness is the key. There is nothing else giving you such euphoria than. You yourself one with nature. the moments you feel like a child, like nothing matters but the present, like you are an empty page and open for anyone and anything. Our world is profoundly sick and confused. Only momentary expression. And emotion can heal us. Barriers must fall.

At a very young age my spirit guide - Babaji - came to me and said he would teach me about the Oneness. After 55 years I have learned so much about how this this consciousness is but part of many consciousness in many dimensions all living in the same time. Each life lives every possibility and connecting to their One. All these conscious versions of me are nurturing and feeding my One at the top of this cycle of lives. It is wonderful to see the Western World starting to see another way.

Thank you for your beautiful messages. For those who resonated with this I highly recommend checking out Samadhi. It's a 3 part documentary and dives even deeper into Todd's sharing. I had an ayahuasca experience in Peru a couple years ago. I had an ego death where I had complete dissolution of my physical body and NO awareness of any physical surroundings - no floor, no physical objects that i knew were around me. No-thing. It was me, as thought only, in darkness. That was my consciousness. It's who we truly are. It also allowed me to see the energy connection and oneness he describes that is between everything. It was a terrifying yet remarkable experience. Spiritual awakening is a rough road. You are literally 'losing your mind' bc you AREN'T your mind. And yet on the other side, it's the most beautiful experience you can have.

I love quality content, this shines. I've come to the same truths about life, it's been a journey. I learned I can do without a lot of "stuff" that the average person can't and I don't mind. I thank the Lord for blessings every morning I open my eyes. I came to realize all is one thru experience...my mom connected with me while I was sleeping the moment she passed on, I was with her just as real as anything...my dog, the one who she said I loved more than anything was with her too all joyous, he had passed on 3 yrs before she did. When the hospital called to tell me she just passed away, I was beyond words, but also, my beliefs were changed instantly about what truly IS-REAL and what is important in life. I KNOW there is no such thing as "death", the physical self ceases, but we are all connected, whether we're on this plane or another.

I was blessed enough to walk with 15 strangers to Everest Base Camp. I had a calling to go look at this mountain that the Nepalese hold with great spiritual value. Every hour blessed with such an incredible landscape we were ‘wowing’ it is imprinted on my mind for ever. Similarly in remote Australia in the desert, nature is alive and wanting to connect. Everything exists in oneness. Thank you for the beautiful reminder.

I love this and wish I could live in this philosophy totally. Unfortunately the human created existence is forced upon us I d like to consider my necessary societal tasks as part of life’s game living without shelter isn’t a pleasant alternative. I’m fortunate to have my basic needs taken care of . I was hit by a car and am just getting back on my feet after months I will get a sum of money for the accident to invest in something meaningful to me to promote truth. Veganism and being one. Peace. "I am God, but so are you and so is everybody. So treat everyone like God, including yourself. And remember, even though you're God you're no better than anyone else. The universe created itself to experience itself through us. You are not your trauma. You are not your circumstances. You are that eternal, unchanging light of consciousness. Your true nature cannot be hurt. Your body can be hurt, your property can be lost, but nothing can touch the true you. It's not your life. You can't possess someone you are. You are life. Never forget that every moment is a miracle. That’s the goal of spirituality" Thank you very much for the video.

The universe is god, and each one of us is the expression of the God/Universe. I read it for the first time in Bhagwat Gita and it took me some time and many discussions within my head to realize this. Once you realize this, you have nothing to achieve and nothing to lose, yet you have to perform your dharma to keep things in motion.

In the speech, listen to the silence between the words. That is where Buddha was. When he held up the flower and said nothing when he was at Mount Grdhrakut. He said nothing just twirled it and showed it to the assembly. Only Kashyapa his closet disciple understood and smiled and laughed .He had the eye treasure. He recieved Buddha's transmission. Todd also seems to have recieved Buddha's understanding, and he shares it and helped me to know what on earth to do.

I really needed to be reminded of this today. It absolutely aligns with my own journey & beliefs....but I needed to wake up & stop fussing the small stuff. By 'small stuff' I mean cancer, my Mom & Dad going through a 'pre-terminal' phase together age 87, my brother losing his job at age 65 where he is supporting my parents & they may all be homeless soon....and strangely enough, the thing that gets to me most are my daughters living in a different country & my colleague at work with Asperger's being crazy critical constantly. ....so by some people's standards 'small stuff' would mean a total melt down. Your video/movie today just really helped me put my perspective back into a better, more manageable shape. If you have ever once given yourself the time to ponder & experience the infinite in you, as you, then I'm sure those that saw your video & read my comment will understand. We are so much more. So much bigger. So much wiser. We should allow ourselves the space to feel that everyday. As you describe.... It is our own minds that drive us crazy with so many conflicting, sad, troublesome thoughts. I need to get out into nature more.... As an older person with cancer & a hip problem over the past 3 years....I am now well & better than I have been in 8 years....I really must get out there & just watch & absorb more. Being too insular at home is no jolly good !! Thank you once again. Medicine for the soul.
