He proved that a black man could remain cool, calm, collected and dignified and pull the world's largest economy on the verge of collapsing back from failing, he proved as a black man for the first time in this nation's history healthcare can be available to all, he proved a black man could kick start the housing market, save a auto industry, win a nobel peace prize, win a second term and become the most adored president of the modern era. He did it for all the world to see without any scandals, abuse of power or corruption. At same time he did it as a committed husband and loving father. This is what Barack did for black people, for a nation. Now what you as a black person or anyone do with his example to better your own life is up to you the individual. That's the best "hook-up" you ever going to get.....DO SOMETHING WITH IT AND STOP WHINING THAT HE DID NOTHING FOR BLACK PEOPLE !!!

There is a problem with this conversation. The focus shouldn't be a matter of whether back folks should think a particular way regarding sexuality. The focus should be on Pete's failures with the black community in the city he was leading. Focusing on alleged black "homophobia" is a manipulative distraction from the fact that Pete's track record suggests we may not be able to trust him.
