I may be reading too much into this but the turtles cabinet still at full retail may be a sign that there's no xl coming. Otherwise they'd be clearancing them out to make room for the new model. I think that's just an expensive license and 1up is in survival mode right now. I mean the 1/4 scale cab is over 300 so that should give you an idea of license expense. Not to fuel your fomo but this may be the last shot at this cab, at least for awhile. However, now that I said that they'll probably announce an xl tomorrow🤷‍♂️

PD7 I’ve had a similar experience in the past with Best Buy. I bought speakers at a reduced price only for the associate tell me that there was a mistake and that the product wasn’t available for the reduced price. I had already paid and spoke to a Manager and she made it happen. I advise you to speak to the General Manager in person and see what happens. It doesn’t hurt to try. Good luck

I don’t think I’m going to mod F&F because of the SW mod, but I am thinking about upgrading T2 screen with Buystuff 19” monitor with 4 sensors. I like the two games on F&F and flight yoke steers perfectly

I don’t think they cancelled the orders because they didn’t like the low price. I bought the Atari Legacy Centipede the same time you bought Turtles. They canceled my order too but mine was at full price of $499. I’m pretty sure these cabinets are sold out and are unavailable. The question is why did Best Buy make them available for purchase online? My hope is they are judging customer interest on what orders to place on future stock.

Phil.... come up to canada. mississuaga has a couple locations that has quite a lot of them either recoveries from failed sales or customer returns (open box) AND they are super low in cost.... ranging from $250 - $300. i've only seen one for about $450 but it was a 4 player model. with the dollar exchange you would be getting it even lower than what you find in your travels. come and stay a weekend and you should be able to skirt the duty fees as you would be in the bracket to bring back over $300.

As for me, i am on the fence of this one because of the space. I want space ace, time crisis, star wars, and tron. Running out of space. Lol Update, I did end up purchasing it online. Delivery feb 12. I will call them for a price match and cancel if they cant. I will attempt with 3 different reps before I cancel. I noticed you get different results with different reps.

Welp, the same thing happened to me on my order so I can confirm you're not alone. BTW, Scratch the cat is the rarest of the original TMNT line. It's pretty much the grail of that line. Just the figure with no accessories I've seen go for $800+ Complete and loose I've seen it go for two grand. Sealed on board as much as 5k

Hi Phil. Sadly best buy has done over the years the same thing with many orders of mine. It’s their way of fixing their mistakes. I bet if you ordered it for 699 you would have had it already. They did the same thing just a month ago with centipede. It was for sale, I ordered it, then next day order cancelled.

I actually dont really like the deluxe versions. I dont like the front plate so close to the ground. I like the risers. Thanks for your timecrisis riser video because the lack of a riser might have stopped me from getting one.
