Now they've made a great rendition to it, i think as legitimate to support the team which has made a such honor to this game...:).

@@junethebune it’s a good thing, we just don’t want it watered down for the sake of “modern audiences”. Overall the remake exceeds expectations. Only real complaint I have is Maria and James being in the same room as Laura. Lore wise that isn’t supposed to happen. Again, the remake exceeded expectations. It looks fantastic, they mainly kept everything the same or embellished on the original in mainly positive ways. I really hope it succeeds. I really hope they don’t “embellish” more than they should on any other remakes.

It’s not just media reviews. But independent reviewers are also saying it’s really good too. Some actually admitting that they were wrong in assuming it was going to be terrible. I’m personally happy that this is becoming a commercial success. The discourse about it previously was incredibly toxic. I’m saying all this as one who played and loved the OG.

There's gonna be a lot of hate because even some big people like Sphere Hunter are still trashing it and calling people blind consumers with no moral code for liking it and that it should be boycotted. Things are gonna go ugly. What matters is your personal opinion, and there's no need to push it to the others. I didn't like it as much but I won't harass people who did. For those who didn't like it, there's this fan remaster mod or ability to play it with First/3rd person mods, there's no need for a fight or hatred. Everyone can pick what they prefer and be happy. Being happy is what matters.

I'm an OG fan. Like, such a SH snob that twin perfect would blush. They did. They truly achieved what I thought couldn't be done. The sheer psychological DREAD of going through an area that you know something happened in SH2 is incredible. The absolute CURVE ball with the boss fights... My God. When second trailer was released(prob), im going skeptic to down hill about this game. Only 2 major i didnt like, first the gun sound is so weird like a toy gun, and second angela model is chubby, outside of that is no problem. Now they proved me wrong when they listened gamers about the issues
