I can't believe how much I ended up liking Kristen Stewart more and more after these movies. Say what you want about her acting, but she made them entertaining, and she had so much more chemistry with Alice than she ever did with Robert Pattinson. Oh, the lesbian vampire story we could've had... The baby was cgi because Rensemee is not a normal baby as she is rapidly aging so production wanted to show a baby that was mature but still physically an infant. They first created an animatronic doll to be Rensemee originally but the doll was so terrifying for the actors and crew(all who nicknamed the doll "Chuckesmee") that they decided to cgi the entire thing thinking it would be better for the audience. The cgi baby was the lesser of two evils😭

Ok, I just have to get this out, since from what I saw no one mentioned this. Cindy, I admire you and what you do, but those Russians are in fact Romanians. The whole thing with vampires comes from Romania, from the mith of Vlad The Impaler. It's just so annoying to see that so little amount of people know from where comes the vampires, but so many love/like/enjoy them and made or still make so much money from it. Our story was just taken and made into this whole kind of industry, but almost no one bothers to give credit where is due. It's offensive, at least to me as a Romanian, to see/ hear "Russian" instead of "Romanian". Not because I have something against Russians people, far from me this thought! But because we kind of where stripped of this story, and no one gives credit for anything. And even when you hear "Romanian", you say "Russian"... Russia and Romania are not the same thing. Yes, we may have a lot of things in common, but we are not the same. The vampires stories didn't start in Russia, they started in Romania.

Using this comment section to plug the fanfiction Luminosity by Alicorn, genuinely one of my favorite pieces of fiction of all time. Twilight walked so Luminosity could run. It takes all the really cool parts of Twilight (vampire powers, politics, vampire lore, side characters with potential) and expands them, while fixing a lot of the wtf moments of the original. First few chapters are a little slow, but then you are HOOKED. I would die if someone reviewed it. 😭
