Coyle was already well in the crease in front of swayman moments before Bennett touched him, the only question is did Sam’s push fully cause the blockage, was Charlie far enough away that the push was the thing that caused swayman to not be able to slide? No, Charlie was already well into the blue/crease in the literal exact location swayman had to be to make that play just moments before Sam touched him, so without the push swayman still most likely can’t make that save with Coyle right in the way, or at least taking the goal away is very hard and it should be a hard call since it’s difficult to make the argument it was Sam’s fault when Charlie was already in the exact space Jeremy had to be before the push was initiated

Robbed? Not robbed of the loss. The loss is on them. Robbed in regard to a goal that should have never counted? Absolutely. There's never been a more clear cut case of goalie interference. Even IF they say "well Swayman wouldn't have made that save anyway"... how do you know? We'll never know because his teammate was crosschecked INTO him. I hate the B's... but I hate 1 sided officiating even more. And if anybody can't see that the NHL has clearly given the refs their marching orders for this series I can't help you. It's been just as egregious in the Oilers/Canucks series.

The E rod elbow, the high stick that directly lead to a good game 1, the 6 consecutive cross checks done on a Panther that was misssd, pasta assaulting Lundel 🤣. There’s been bad calls on both sides, but to pretend like Boston is being robbed when a few missed called isn’t going to fix a team that recorded as many shots all series as the panthers did on a single game. The rulebook doesn’t say one thing and then they do another keep reading the rules. Sam Bennett was not the attacker. He was the rebound player. So that means you have to go look under rebounds and loose pucks. Read what it says under rebounds and loose pucks it’s completely different. But don’t finish reading the rules they just wanna stop where it suits them. Not to mention coyle was already in the crease before the love tap. Plus coyle embellished the love tap.

Not a Boston or Florida fan for the record. The officials have been horrible this year. This is not acceptable in a major league sport. The NHL officials are completely unaccountable. This is not acceptable. And to continue to blow calls this badly in the playoffs is egregious. Regardless of the GI rule, how does that cross check get missed? You have two referees on the ice including one a couple feet from the player committing the cross check. What is that ref looking at?!? Officiating this poor undermines the credibility of the sport.

I agree with the call and I’m a NJD fan. You can’t review a missed call besides offsides, goalie interference, and a few other things. Swayman wasn’t making that save, missed cross check but good goal!

The call by the replay officials was correct whether you like it or not. It's the rule that everyone has a problem with. It wasn't a Panther player that interfered with the goalie. The crosscheck took place outside of the goalie area and it wasn't called. It was a Bruin player that interfered and that makes all the difference. Replay rules don't allow a penalty to be called unless it was involved with goalie interference. It makes no difference if the crosscheck took place right next to the goalie area or at center ice.

@@notoriouseagle1074 I'm making no argument about the fairness of the officiating. I was only making the argument that the NHL was not siding with Florida on the call. They didn't have a choice. They can't call crosschecking because it's not allowed. There was no goaltender interference by Bennett. A Bruin interfered due to being 'crosschecked' into the goalie. Your problem is with the rule or the officiating but not with the NHL.

For Bennett to say he doesn’t have time to pre-meditate punch in that situation is absolutely Rediculous. It’s called timing. Martial artists and fighters practice landing quick punches when closing in on an opponent. It’s very easy to practice. Especially when an opponent is not expecting a punch at all. This is just as silly as these refs thinking there was no goalie interference.

B’s fan - Refs have been atrocious. Bennett should be suspended, doesn’t matter if he didn’t do it on purpose. For FL fans that say McAvoys hit was interference - the puck was maybe an inch from Reinharts stick and he was clearly about to touch the puck. That being said - the Bruins have been absolutely dominated pretty much the whole series and don’t deserve to win. BUT let’s be real this series could (somehow) be 2-2 if refs called the game right

Womp womp. Marchand is lucky he wasn't penalized for interference because that puck was cleared from Bennett's stick before he tried to blindside him. The only times you got reffed was the non GI call game 4 and a missed hold on Ekblad that was called GI against Boston game 3. Im sure there are more, but those are the ones to be upset over.
