Angel is a head case. She probably quit on her team because they weren't going to make the playoffs. Caitlin is a shoe in for ROY. ❤❤❤❤

Yeah, was MVP before mid season... strange how that happens in the activists league!! 😮😮😮 so much for merit based awards... 5 Olympians on her team, so what's so valuable about anything any one of these 5 are awarded? Stacked team!!!

Once she realized she wasn't going to make the playoffs and CC would she gave up. CC is going to the playoffs and possibly win the first round or two. Angel knows that wasn't in the bag for her.

100% Faking injury because she knew she was going to lose rookie of the year and now she can make excuses and blame that is the reason why she lost.
@NateO1233 ай бұрын
It’s going to be so obnoxious because even tho this was never even a discussion CC does have a devoted group of haters that would say pretty much anything to try and claim that Reese is somehow a better baller. Their arguments were laughable but still they stuck to them like glue, and they will happily use this just like Reese to claim that she was totally going to win the award but awww shucks that darn wrist injury ruined everything 😂

Wrist injuries usually take a day or two to settle into severe pain. I'm not a hater of either one. They are both extremely talented. Bring on the hate everyone... As a 52-year-old white male who has never watched the WNBA both of them have brought me to be a fan of the league...

I've played through some injuries, i just got back up and played but it wasnt a wise choice. However if i could still shoot with that hand and it felt okay i would have just iced it and maybe take a game off if needed. I wasn't going to not play. Rolled ankles are worse... What needs surgery exactly?! LOL Ive had a few fractures and broken ribs (that is very painful) and a broken ankle, slipped a disc. That is understandably so. But there doesn't seem to be a thing wrong with her wrist! Especially that would need surgery...

CC didn't push her to quit, all the idiotic media and so-called "fans" pushed her. CC paid no attention to any of it. If it wasn't for all the manufactured hype about Angel vs Caitlin, there'd be no fake injury (if it is actually fake; I don't know).

You shouldnt be rewarded for your own rebounds. If u shoot and miss, and get a second chance with your own shot, how can you gain from that. Wont that shot missed count as a shot missed. But she can get a bonus for getting a second shot from her missed shot? Im new to basketball bexasue of CC, is my question stupid?

She did the same thing in their last match in college. Supposedly she had an ankle injury, left the floor and then came back to finish the game. She has a history to look at.

I think I had a vague idea that there was a Women's baketball league before I got interested in Caitlin's game this year. Although I don't care about Angel's game to the same extent that I do Caitlin's, I don't think that even for a second that Angel left because of Caitlin. If you have the drive to make it to pro level, no one can chase you off.

@@stevesunderground Well @stevesunderground, plenty of people do run away just like you say. Those that did, never became a pro. Even though in my opinion, the WNBA is one toxic league. No one I see is backing down from anything. They seem to be doubling down and standing firm.

During the summer of my junior year high school I suffered a hairline fracture on my right wrist pretty early in a summer league game. It took a few days before I finally had it checked out. It was never more than a dull pain that just never stopped being there. I had a half cast brace looking thing for about 3 weeks.

Also to anyone claiming she switched hands with her brace. When she wears the black brace the video is mirror. You can tell because the dot on her nose is on the wrong side of her face.

Broken BOTH of my wrists (different times), and NO, it would be asinine and extremely painful, to try to clap your hands. You become very protective over an injury like that.

I have many different wrist injuries, and I find it very hard to believe she could keep playing like that if it was bad enough to require a cast or heavy brace. I hope she loses the record since she doesn't deserve any of it for stat padding.

I have broken both of my wrists. My right side 3 times and left side twice. The worst was the 1st time for my right playing basketball. I broke multiple of the small bones and fractured my ulna. I played a few more minutes but then the shock wore off and that was it. I fractured my left wrist playing paintball. I taped it and kept playing. Angle's was not as bad and she is clearly tough, so yes, I think she could have done kept playing. Also, it is not uncommon for a fracture to feel a lot worse the next day.
