@@samanthacanales9102 you are correct with much of what you said, but I differ with in regards to your assertion that Singer is our "brother". Far from the truth that is. As far as the Jews are concerned, yes they are the natural branches and together with the wild branches are grafted into the Olive Tree, that is Israel with Yeshua being the Root that supports it. In Romans 11:17-24. Paul chooses the cultivated olive tree to portray Israel and the wild olive tree to represent Gentile believers. The cultivated olive tree is pruned and nurtured so that it bears much fruit. The fruitless, ineffective branches are trimmed and discarded, but the root remains intact. God has preserved the holy root of Israel and pruned off the worthless branches. Therefore, Singer, as an unbelieving Jew, is broken off from the covenants of God and can be grafted in again ONLY if he believes that Yeshua is the Messiah. But he doesn't, hence cannot be a brother of mine. Worse still, he is leading millions of Jews and Gentiles astray, pointing many Gentiles to the Demonic religion of Noahidism (believers in the 7 Noahide laws that completely removes Yeshua from the equation). 2 John Chapter 1 verse 8 to 10 says "Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward. Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds. Paul has some strong words for those who leads God's people astray with false doctrine, calling them "Accursed". There is hell fire in false doctrine! There is damnation in it ! Paul writing to the Galatians states emphatically “If we or an angel from heaven preach unto you any other gospel let him be accursed! The curse of God is upon those who corrupt the word of God --And then go and make money off the blood of the lamb! This is corruption! Therefore, Singer based on this Scriptural criteria cannot be called a "brother", because a brother in the kingdom cannot lead people away from the Messiah. It would be better that they were never born in the first place.

'the Israel that came out of Egypt' was broken into two kingdoms (1kings12: 16-17), These kingdom were call Israel (North kingdom aka Ephraim) and Judah (South Kingdom aka Jews) 3) The North Kingdom became idolaters gentiles and was sent to exiled by the Assyrian in 722 BC. If we know these TRUTHS then we know that we (The Church) are that North kingdom of Israel because "we hear the voice of the shepherd who came to save that which was lost" and we that eventually South kingdom (aka Jews) will believe in the Messiah - this is the word of God. In short our brother Singer "is not our enemy he is just wrong" we must oppose him with truth and He will also see.

I see you ignored my previous reply to you which clearly and in no uncertain terms explains why Singer cannot be a brother to any Jewish or Gentile believer. But honestly, today's pastors need to be prepared for this type of situation. Singer has an upper hand because he knows Hebrew, but even then, logic and scripture can be used to counter him. Modern day Jews are atheists that say Isaiah 53 is not a messiah passage of scripture, yet before the 3rd century AD all the rabbis and teachers believed it was a Messianic passage. It was obviously fulfilled in Jesus Christ, and people are without excuse because it is staring them straight in the face as a testament written in stone and writing that exists in 2022 and up to date, they cannot see it because it is spiritually discerned. Tense: Furthermore, The “past perfect tense” regarding the child’s birth indicates that the prophecy cannot be something far into the future. Rather, it must be referring to a birth relevant to the times at which it is being uttered, namely the birth of Hezekiah. (We don’t assume a prophecy in the future, speaking in the prophetic past tense, without a logically coherent reason that would compel us to render it as such) Textual Coherence: The next point is very important, according to the Christian interpretation, the verse says “and he will call his name”, then, the verse goes on to call his name, all appellations that follow included, however, the verse is utterly lacking, for who is calling his name? The verse is fundamentally lacking. This has nothing to do with king Hezekiah. It is a prophecy that speaks about the future of his coming messianic Kingdom, which is forever. Dr Brown says, that the Talmud says the names belong to the child, His name shall be called is also future tense and His rule and Kingdom. The Hebrew does not say "and he will call his name", you distort scripture. His name "pele"=wonderful we read, when Manoah asked of His name (Judg 22:18). The remnant of Israel will return to EL GIBOR=Mighty God (Isa 10:21).This child in Isa 9:6 is the Messiah, our Savior and LORD, whom you do not know.

The way I see this issue is God does not view time as we do. To Him there is no past or future tense. He exists in the past, present, and future simultaneously. I imagine God's prophets held themselves to a higher standard of faith than the average believer, so it goes without saying that they would prophecy in such a way that speaks to the certainty of God's plan.

Dr. Brown, you of all people should know that the Vav-consecutive switches a verb's tense, meaning that "וקם" is not past and was never past, it is future (and conversely "ויקום" is not future, it is past). If we go back to Isaiah 9:5 we see it exactly talking about the past- "יולד" is past, "ניתן" is past, "ותהי" is past (employing the Vav-consecutive), "ויקרא" is past (employing the Vav-consecutive).

They are allowing their way of interpreting the text to justify their purposeful mistranslation of the text......why? Because when you create a lie from the truth: the truth will still exist, this is why they need to translate it differently to isolate their theology as the only one that is being presented to the readers that they are translating the text for, thus- forcing the readers to be under the theologies and views of the translators,and not the actual Theology of the textual context as a whole. Get a jps Tanakh and read the passages before ,and the passages after the text that is in question, you will then find that all the futuristic text speak in the mannerism of saying- it shall be, it will be ,or in that day- they are not speaking of a futuristic prophecy that is playing out presently. That is just a clever sneaky justification which cannot stand on its own which is why the translator had to change the text to only read in the ways of their interpretation.

The Apostle Paul warned against Jews such as Rabbi Singer. They are false teachers and enemies of the cross of Christ. Unfortunately for Singer, he doesn’t realize being Jewish and keeping the Law as best you can won’t save you. As the Apostle John said in 1 John “He who has the Son has life. He who does not have the Son does not have life.” And how does this Rabbi explain Psalm 2 where it talks about the Messiah already being established on His thrown when obviously it was referring to a future event. About two years ago I was seriously studying Judaism, and was even considering converting from my Christian faith. I became increasingly convinced that Judaism is true, but there was a fatal problem. The more I studied it, the only way I was able to make sense of Judaism is if Jesus is the Messiah. But if Jesus is the Messiah, doesn't that make Christianity true and not Judaism? I reconciled these two views: Christianity is true, and it is the fulfillment of Judaism, and thus it is impossible for Christianity to be true without Judaism being true. It doesn't mean all things modern Jews believe are true, but the Tanakh (Old Testament) is the inspired Word of God either way. The God of Israel is the One True God. Me and millions of other Christians from across the world worship the God of Israel only because of Jesus.

this could benefit from 3 separate clips. 1. The prophetic perfect in isaiah 9:6 , 2. Chezkiyahu, and 3. The names. You were clear re the prophetic perfect.. But you totally brushed over Chezkiyahu "God strengthens", why Tovia is wrong there to say it means mighty God. Also on Chezkiyahu I wasn't quite clear what tovia's point was, I thought he meant that the person referred to as "mighty God" is not God. So i'm less clear how your response relates to it. You said Chezkiyahu refers to the son, OK.. I think Tovia would agree, but Tovia is saying that it doesn't mean he's God. And on point 3, that was very brushed over and rushed, I don't really understand why one translation is better than another there. The NET translation mentions both and doesn't really favour one over the other in the notes, iirc. And maybe the masoretic punctuation favours one over the other.. That could do with much more treatment.

This is great. When a prophet speaks as something “past tense” and yet prophetically future what he is saying is that the future is as sealed as History. For History is what is behind us as something actual. The future is what is before us as something potential. In God He has no potentiality but what He says IS such that there is no “future” to God. Thus, the Prophet is signifying the concrete ness of this future event by alluding to it as past history.
