I think DID Corporation former name is Dragon Action Figure. Still remember Dragon produce the same figure of Buzz Aldrin last 15 years.

These are wonderful! true history in 1/6 form. When I was a kid my parents bought me the old G.I. Joe astronaut figure from Apollo 13 based off of the movie and I ended up keeping it all these years :) I since modified the Apollo figure with a Hot Toys body and fat suit to give him bulk. Wonderful review Danyboi :)

Just ordered mine. The detailing is impressive. It makes the Dragon Models 1/6 scale Apollo astronauts look like toys - but then the price difference reflects that.

I usually will use a solder station & run it along the strap ends and this will seal them and keep it from fraying. As far as the remote control. I took the metal rod out, filed the end to make it a bit rounded, made sure no material was in the way so I could seat the clip as far down as possible and carefully inserted the pin back in, it took a few tried but I got both in there and they work great. Who ever assembled it originally did a poor job. I do like your magnet idea also. I've used that approach with models.

Follow up- The solder station sealed the end of the strap perfectly. I pinched it flat with small needle nose because it will fatten slightly and you will have problems getting it through the fastener. I was luck enough to get a hose with a incorrect end! One end was to be a cap and it wasn't. The hoses for Buzz were correct. And yes, I'll need some putty because if you sneeze, parts & hoses will come lose!

Me: man I want one really badly! The 300 dollar price: I’m gonna stop you right there
@mustafabaskara44683 жыл бұрын
My friend, you say, with your own money, is it expensive for 300 dollars, I think you can easily buy it as a gift or a birthday gift. I am Turkish and here 300 dollars are the equivalent of our money, that is, 2100 TL in TL (Turkish Lira). I can't pay that much money for the model, I think you're lucky again

I think you were joking.. but Michael Collins was equally important or else they don't come home. Many argue he was the #1 brains of the bunch - certainly the most articulate.

I got Buzz and love it. Yes the strap killed me OMG it was such a pain. I also frayed mine so what I did was cut down the strap once I got it on so no fraying left, then dipped the end in glue to seal it to stop anymore fraying. The remote latches also made me scream.
@Danoby24 жыл бұрын
Going into my 2 and 3 reivews for Buzz and Michael I'll use the glue technique!

$700 for 1/6 is a bit overpriced when compared with the $1299.99 1/4 Statue IMO🙂
@senng97604 жыл бұрын
700$ for 3 figures I think it is reasonable...

Which Statue? The one released from Blitzway? That sucker ran me $1500 bucks once you add the $300 shipping from sideshow. Haha

If you had this in hand and saw the detail, quality and work that has gone into this, £300 for one DID Astronaut, or see what HOT Toys are putting out. £260 for a Jawa set that features a clamshell stand, a hollow droid and cloak, the difference is night and day and well worth the extra few dollars
