I agree with your comment. Hot Toys had the opportunity to make improvements, but just took the lazy way. I wish they would have made this Batmobile actually 1/6 scale. I decided on the JazzInc after seeing in hand photos. After seeing some comparison videos online, the Jazzinc is just so much better.

I did the same thing, I made my own moducase. I drilled and threaded the bars myself. It was easy. I think moducase is fair with their prices because the plexiglass is expensive. I just couldn’t wait for the year turnaround time.

It's pretty obvious TOMY and their crew put their all into this model. From what I've read, they scanned the original 1701 now on display in the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum to build this. TOMY undertook something monumental and delivered something worth much more than what they charged. They didn't take some plastic kit and make it metal; meticulous in their paint schemes and lighting, they CAD/CAM'd the hell out of that thing to deliver a great 1:350th metal copy. My heart breaks for those of you who bought one and came out disappointed due to Shuttles being a millionth of a centimeter off, or the blatant negligence of showing some seams, or how the paint in one spot JUST. DOESN'T QUITE. MATCH. Do better. I, and others, would love to see it. Otherwise, if you don't like it, don't buy it. Let the rest of us enjoy what I consider one of the best metal, complete, lit models which used to be on the market. If you didn't like this one, then for God's sake don't buy the 1701 refit. It won't hold up to your critical eye. Do yourself a favor and save your money, and favor us by sparing us your critiques.

I Love New Wave Toys products. They're attention to detail has always been good and is getting better! (Can you say, - Fake Motherboard inside their 'Berzerk' Cabinet?!) So, I snapped up the 'Zoltar' immediately. My Goal is to have a scale arcade facility & then have someone build a Diorama for it (And guess what? They are now selling Diorama Parts for a 'Time Out' Arcade!) They are even making a mock-up Pinball Machine, though I did not snap that one up. It is decorative ONLY, not playable & I had to contact them to let them know how disappointed I was. The thing that set their products apart was not just their stellar visual detail & the quality of construction, but that their products tried to mimic _Function_ as well. That was their Key Standout.

Not only the screws on the starboard sections but the bridge is wrong, the huge unsightly saucer section seams and the warp nacelle seams are annoying as all get out and the lower sensor dome doesn’t have ribs or that phaser bank probe sticking out…..they did a lousy job I’m glad I never ordered one it’s definitely not worth the cost

Is there someone who can explain why the loose axels are important if it’s sitting on a shelf? I assumed they could be loose or literally fused to the car and it wouldn’t matter. It’s a static piece. Am I missing something?

I didn't hear if you mentioned your Jinkos being wired together in series or in parallel. Your Segway should have no problem taking both Jinkos if connected in parallel. Did you ever find out the difference between the inverters in the Segway and the EcoFlow that makes your Ford reject the Segway?

The face looks nothing like Tifa in the Remake or Final Fantasy Ever Crisis. That's not attention to detail.
