As Muslims, we should always be wary of any Haram positions pushed by all political parties, with that said, the Green Party has made it clear that they care about Palestine, supporting Boycotting Israel since at least 2006. Any support for her now will obviously show that people support them because of Palestine, not for any Haram activities. Jill Stein gave out a statement in 2017 rejecting Bashar Al-Assad, in the most recent inferview with Mehdi Hasan she also said the same.

George W. Bush was installed twice because of voter fraud and suppression and third party candidates were used to install him diverting enough votes from democrats. How did that work out for Muslims here and overseas??

I do not know about US politics, but I hope all the Muslims living in the US are safe and sound.

Legally speaking, Dr. Shadee can endorse whoever he wants outside of Safina Society and any other nonprofits he may belong to. If he has a personal YT channel, he can certainly pick candidates there. However, the signed letter says more than enough for anyone to understand.

This conversation ended ambiguously with a non committed stance. At 7:24 it was brought up that the Green Party is close to the 5% threshold to be considered a valid 3rd party option and proceeds to suggesting a Muslim Bloc Vote. Sheik then proceeded to quote others not necessarily responding to statement and ends the video. This is not guidance, you’re basically saying do whatever just vote for a 3rd party. Let me say this about our options. I love Cornell West but Stein/Ware is closer to the 5% mark. I’m not going to go against the Ummah’s Voice because of Syria or LGBTQ issues at this time because the Green Party is the the best option. The problem with our community is this non committal stances on issues that are not leading anyone anywhere. BLOC VOTING is One Voice, One Vote period. Respectfully

With due respect to the Sheikh. You r endorsing a Third Party but you do not want to be explicit about the Green Party. Then Which third party do you want us to vote: we have 1) Green Party 2) Cornell west (who’s name is not in ballot in TX) 3) Libertarian (never heard of any scholar talking about them) I live in Dallas, I do not have any personal contact with this group Texas for Palestine But what they did was a natural derivation of conclusion from your unendorsing of two major parties, which can be interpreted by majority as endorsing the Green Party.

As you stated, there are three alternate parties, so their interpretation that it refers to the green party is baseless

Mqtn i wish sh shadee would be clear who to vote for. I thought he endorsed the green party in recent video with imam tom
@SafinaSocietyАй бұрын
Imam of Masjid is not allowed to endorse anyone. Non-profit status will be revoked.

what is your stance on not voting? Frankly, as a muslim, I dont understand how I can vote for anyone. They all have some haram position. Also, what is the point of voting for a third party? In Allah's eyes, what does that action even mean?
@habsa8855Ай бұрын
It's not Imam's job to endorse political parties in US so they don't. People it's your responsibility to know the candidates and vote so that we can answer in the hereafter. I am voting for Green Party now and in the future.

Someone pls explain to me what some sufis mean by wahdatul wujood, do some of them believe that all of existence is Allah himself including creation that we are so to speak in him? I think they use as a proof the hadith wich states something like Allah is time
