I_CHANGED MY_USERNAME_ NARUTO is great and all and I personally love it but from a writing perspective they don’t even compare geass is far better. The story telling is amazing in code geass where as it drags on in parts of NARUTO and also bounces around at points especially the beginning. It also has a very very very shitty ending

If you haven't seen Code Geass, or the movies SPOILER comment ahead... Code Geass is great, and the new movie is also great, but there are a few major problems with it. First of I don't think that the movie should have took place in the recap universe. The recaps change a lot of the story. Shirley lives, a few battles are skipped over, Lelouch is never truly shown with his memory lose(he lives with, and regains it off screen), Rolo is converted to Lelouchs team off screen, Shirleys dad wasn't killed, and Lelouch didn't block her memories(on screen at least). I know the movie universe was created to allow the ending of the anime to be preserved, but the new movie could have easily taken place in the anime universe, and people could decide for themselves if they wanted the story to go past the anime. I think the new movie is great, but it has its flaws. The only major flaws are the post credits scene, which makes Lelouch look like a villain going forward, and I dont like that it only takes place 1 year after the death of Lelouch. I like that the movie sets up more movies, with the scene, but still. More movies have been confirmed, which is exciting.
