Literally since xenoblade is so open world, you can experience a high level enemy from basically the tutorial of the game. shot another example would be FF15, I can walk near certain areas and experience a quest/enemies that is way out of my league because it is open world!

I’m with moon! Botw despite being really fun to traverse with climbing and gliding, exploration wise, the world is empty af. 90% of what you find in botw is just shrines (which range from mostly boring to at times good) or Korok seeds (which I mean I don’t gotta say much) I’d be ok with shrines if it wasn’t literally the only thing to find in the world if they also had regular dungeons and more moments like finding the lord of the mountain that was good exploration because you had a unique interesting experience vs just finding another shrine. Imagine climbing that ice mountain and finding an ice temple with level design and a boss at the end! Instead I just found a rock that I lifted and got another Korok seed 😴 It also doesn’t help that the enemy variety is terrible

I am going to state my opining on breath wild dlc that I did not like, when you get the master sword right, it states that its true power comes out when fighting enemies with ganon malice right which is fine, but when they came out with dlc to allow you as a player to get the master at full power, it made me super upset. Why would I as a player have to buy dlc to use the master at full power all the time. It should have been already been in the game. Same for upgrading your champions abilities why do I have to buy dlc to upgrade abilities that should be implanted to be upgraded. I did buy the dlc because I like the other content that came with it, but some of the stuff should have been in the game already and not be dlc.

moonmonkey tripping, ghost of tsushima open world was boring. the camps and side quests were literally the same thing with different names. BOTW has several different things to do that shapes the world around you including my favorite one that starts with you collecting materials to get your house built and ends with you traveling the world to find people that will settle in a new town you help build from scratch and has a wedding in. How is there nothing to do? It sounds like Moonmonkey was just focused on leveling up and not enjoying the game. I've never had all hearts or full stamina because that stuff gets boring, you gotta explore

I don’t think BOTW is ass but Moon is right about most of what he said about the game tho. Its part of the reason why I think we need to reestablish what needs to be considered a AAA title. I think how Nintendo tricked us is by being able to make a game as pretty as it looks on a console that barely pushes 720p and 24fps on handheld. Its a great game, it’s overhyped within its tier, which at least A tier. Personally S tier tho.
