Sorry you didn't as it was still an opportunity to add enough votes to a 3rd party (5% of the vote) to enable them to be automatically put on the ballot NEXT election plus receive federal funding, etc. Today is a lost cause..we need to focus on tomorrow and trying to fix it for next time. We have to be honest and besides Michigan, Gaza and foreign policy in general didnt play that much of a role in the general public. It's quite sad and i wish it would be different, but sadly the Americans dont really care about foreign policy and what empire does. It was one of many reasons the election played out as it did, sure but to say the democrats lost because of Gaza would be a major stretch.

I think in addition to the Harris campaigns actual position on Palestine harming them in Michigan specifically, their complete failure (and in fact unwillingness) to differentiate themselves from Biden meant that his unfavorable ratings became her unfavorables. Breaking from him on Gaza would have been on way she could have signaled that she was a change candidate, but she failed to do it on this issue and every other issue.

I voted green. It’s questionable how much real overall impact the Stein/Ware candidacy actually had. As far as the Arab vote in Michigan probably a lot more than other states but still a lot of that Arab vote went to Trump but people staying home and not voting is what I’d guess is what had the greatest impact as far as depressing the democratic vote in Michigan and elsewhere and I think the genocide happening in Gaza was a primary reason people didn’t come out in large enough numbers and that effected Harris a lot more than Trump. All that said Trump is going to be horrific but from my point of view we had to make the Democratic Party pay. Both of them were and are terrible choices and people.
