What concerns me, though, is that in similar reports, these third and fourth generation Dutch youth of Moroccan descent who had the courage to defend their city are often framed as 'Arabs', on both sides. This is not only unfortunate but also unjust, as most Moroccan Dutch people are Amazigh, or Berbers, and not Arab. In fact, many of them do not even speak or read Arabic! They are undoubtedly proud of their Moroccan heritage and their identity as Muslims, but their Berber/Amazigh roots also deserve recognition, even from those with good intentions. So I want to emphasize here that while these Dutch youth of Moroccan descent involved deserve our respect, its helpfull to mention too(for the context) that they are not recent "immigrants" same as the rest of the Moroccan community in the Netherlands (and even in Belgium), and that they are predominantly of Moroccan Berber descent and not 'Arabs,' as has been incorrectly repeated in this video. I understand that the other side (the Z1o-nazis!) may see or want to see it differently, as this supports their 'Jews versus Ara bs' narrative, but let’s please stick to the facts. How on earth is it possible that the Maccabists are portrayed as victims, while there are enough images available to show that in most cases they were the perpetrators of violence. But in the Netherlands...the instigators are labelled as victims.

The dutch government failed its citizens. Please understand that these 3rd and 4rd generation Dutch youth of Moroccan descent who had the courage to defend their city are in majority not Arab, they are Berbers or Amazigh. They are the largest "minority" community in Amsterdam, next to the Turkish community.
