This tournament is a big W for Student anyways. Who would ve thought that he will give Zlewikk, Florry and Habibi a run for their money in speedrun challenges.

@@EmperorJohn The thing with the Student is that he can analyze every little mechanic in the game and take it to the extreme, create a ridiculous strategy and achieve an unthinkable goal, as seen in many videos on his channel. But as seen in Para Bellum, he sometimes struggles with improvising when he doesn't have a lot of time to prepare and he likes to cling to his original strategy instead of coming up with a new one. He's very skilled but I'd say he doesn't take the time pressure well (and neither would I, btw, so it's more of an observation rather than critique).

He piked a strategy with a lot of RNG. Pick one of the other Balcan nation and you can at least wrap up the other small ones in no time.

I really think that, by default, the game should pause and you should be prompted to set provinces of interest when you declare wars. Obviously needs to be an option to disable, but it's something people miss SO OFTEN that I think it'd be useful.

its ussually a pretty edge case thing. only high end play or wars that totally rely on an ally does it really matter. I ussually set such things once or twice in an entire game and would find it super annoying if it was mandatory. its just a tool to let the AI know what you want. it has no effect on your peace deal. as even if you say I want this. the AI can also decide it wants that and not give it to you.

Even tho his gamble here went horribly wrong im really impressed by Students performance. Knew his channel well already. He shines by making great guides that make me look like a total noob with my 1500 hours 😆Hands down among the best EU4 content! But i would ve never thought that he will give EU4 titans like Zlewikk, Habibi and Florry a run for their money in speedrun challenges. He is the big surprise of this tournament and even if he only gets 4th place he can consider this a big W. Hope his channel gets a nice boost from this. Would be absolutely deserved. Him vs Zlewikk will be epic. The latter was somewhat underperforming so far but that means his determination will be huge.
