The wife of a South Carolina pastor who warned her sister he may shoot her died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, a medical examiner has ruled. The circumstances surrounding her death have sparked conspiracy theories around the internet. However, there is video evidence of the woman buying the gun, as well as audio from a 911 call of her admitting to what she was planning.

My dad's a minister, and the church always came first. My mom was in the hospital, and he didn't bother to visit because the church yard needed to be mowed. He didn't take a single day off preaching when my mom died. He viewed himself as being very dedicated to his church. Most ministers that I've known are like that.

Just by changing your tone, talking TO someone instead of down at them and giving a brief word or two of encouragement or compassion can make a world of difference. Not only about how they view 911 operators and the police (because to civilians we are often one in the same) but also on how the traumatic experience affects them as a whole. If you have someone dying or hurt or lost it is still traumatic but if you feel like the person you needed to help you was really there for you, listening to you and letting you know they are concerned for you, it may help, and even a tiny bit is enough in my book.

1) My dad killed himself and I know from experience, families often don't want to believe that their loved one could possibly do such a thing. 2) My husband died in a motorcycle accident 2017 and I didn't shed a single tear at his funeral. I still took my kids to their activities. I fell into a deep depression and addiction, but on the outside it looked like I was living it up. Knowing that my every move was being scrutinized made it all so, so much worse. Easy to say you know how you'd react, but trust me, you don't.

Beautifully said. My mother died in 2011 (from drug addiction) at the age of 61. She was not a good mother. But I loved her, and I miss her terribly. I have never cried. Some would call me cold for this reaction. But I knew, from the age of 9 or so, based on her addictions, that her life would be shorter than most. I lived through all of my childhood, my teenage years, and much of my adult years, waiting for that call from the police. I was wrong, they came to my door to tell me. People grieve in a million different ways, but she was my mother, and I loved her.

Michael may address this but JP (the pastors dad) dad was messing with underage boys in the past but had it expunged somehow. (Alledgedly). Also she said “I want my family to know where to find me) she then walks far away into the woods, drops her bag and her phone, then walks about a football fields length away from that and shoots herself? Shoots her self in a muddy lake? The body and gun were found in the water. Also odd was in police photos there was a sandwich she had made sitting in the passenger seat. JP was sighted at an event so no I don’t think he did this but I’m not so sure he didn’t have help. IMO. It oftentimes, is not what it appears. Years ago a friend and client of mine was cheating on his wife with his bosses daughter who was very much younger, the plan was he would divorce his wife and marry her. But then he had a coming back to Jesus moment, literally. I was a part of that so I know it. And he told his boss and his bosses daughter he was not going to divorce (or let her be deleted..IDK), and he was "deleted". And the coroner, the sherriff and department, and others immediately said it was "suic***d), but because many of us made a bunch of noise, it was reinvestigated and found out it was the "boss" that had did it and he went to prison. Also, where I worked I answered the phone when some husky voice guy called to have a message given to one of the noise makers - and it was a threat. For the noise makers to shut up - or be shut up. Unfortunately this happens more often than realized.

Apparently there is concrete evidence that he was with his new teen girlfriend across state lines at a sports event. Furthermore there is footage of her purchasing the gun shortly before as well as a 911 call she placed immediately before pulling the trigger. However there is plenty of evidence that he intentionally pushed her to this, through abusive treatment over years.

I don't know the situation fully, but i will say this: as someone who has been In that place, who has been seconds from ending my own life, it doesnt surprise me when seemingly happy people end it all. @@HeldbyanAngela Things literally are as they appear, way, WAY more times than not. This isn't some giant mystery or a juicy water cooler story to tell people. It's really cut and dry. REALLY cut and dry. She had a history of mental issues dating back years and was on medication for it along with self deletion ideation. Her husband is a narcissist who is good at talking to people, and didn't love her anymore and was cheating on her because he hadn't cared about her for a while. She was on the edge of self deleting for a long time anyway, and realizing her husband simply didn't care anymore and was cheating decided to take the leap. After it happened, he was glad because it saved him from the lengthy process and bad image of divorce because of his profession. It isn't some big conspiracy. It's crystal clear what happened here, people need to stop watching all of these shows and creating things in their mind.

The point is that while it looks very obvious, no matter which side one falls on here, neither really knows. Not the “conspiracy theorists,” nor the ones who have it all figured out, who quickly say, “case closed, look at the obvious evidence.” There are thousands of cases that look like a self-induced act and are considered so by authorities from initial evidence that later come out, through further investigation, as not self-induced and result in criminally charging and convicting another.
