My wife and I both have arachnophobia and we stumbled upon one of your Night feeding videos, we have found your voice and style relaxing and is helping us with that fear. I have PTSD and struggle with night terrors one being the Camel Spiders in Afghanistan/Iraq areas .... I was literally CHASED by one the size of a Dinner Plate while i was on a Fork Lift on the airbase ramp. So i have no desire to be anywhere near a HUGE spider but ... @Ignorant Flopper Really? I don't think so, there are many levels and meanings to the term handsome. The male spider was nice looking, alert and ready to get the job done. Obviously a male at the peak of his life and still in good performance mode. Not all scraggly and lethargic yet.. I have a male Brachypelma albiceps and I call him handsome all the time. He has good contrast with his coloring, very vibrant and energetic. A women can be called "handsome" also.. if she is not considered classically "pretty" but have strong, even clear features. Horses, "That is a very handsome pair of horses.." used to describe a pair of carriage horses that are matched well in color gait and size. Look it up, handsome can mean substantial, pleasing to the eye and other things.
