there are lots of options between that daisy chain nightmare and a $300 power supply. mine was under $50 and works great, and even has 9V, 12V, and 18V options which is fun to experiment with.

I've been thinking about getting a power supply but I haven't yet because I use the OneSpot daisy chained and it's super clean. With that said, I'm only playing at home currently and I have a pretty clean power situation. If I were playing out and in less controlled environments, then definitely would get an actual power supply.

Do you need isolation ? Yes Do you need to buy the most expensive isolated PSU ? No Unless you don't know what is what, then Maybe ... I do great with products from Donner, Mooer and Caline. I'm sure that the Harley Benton isolated PSUs work fine as well. Good test though. 👍

I had exactly the same experience going from One Spot to Zuma. Just different pedals.

I’ve been thinking about getting an iso power supply because I have a tone bender clone that gets the worst interference.

I've been really happy with the Zuma. Cioks is another brand that is highly regarded and not as much money. Happy playing!

Reverb, delay and an OD pedal is all you need if you have a good amp.

Walrus Aetos is like 170

Yeah, you don't have to spend $300, however, I had 9 pedals to power and the Zuma seemed like my best option considering the size and number of outputs. Plus I'm a sucker for blue ;)

@@Bradjohnsonmusic very understandable haha I sometimes keep pedals on my board because I like how they look

Dude my main sound involves two compressors, three ODs, and two EQs. I use a one spot and have no issues with noise. If it ain't broke don't spend $300 fixing it.
