It actually acts as a charger as well, as in the IQ port can output power whilst charging the power bank itself. This has the benefit of not only charging your device but also top up the battery in the charger for on the go use. This is a premium feature anyway you look at it. The port can also charge up the power bank if you are afraid of plugging it straight into mains. Overall Anker offers better value and safety measures in their power banks. That does not mean other "no name" brands don't, they just tend to be irrelevant when it comes to warranty and consistency in their product line-up.
