Did I Mention It Was Steep? Endless Steps Down Clachnaben

Clachnaben is a pretty distinctive looking hill on the lower edges of Aberdeenshire. Often over looked by some riders, but to do so is to miss out on one monster of a steep, gnarly, step infested descent.
The first KM of the descent averages a -21.6% gradient... -21.6%?!?!
It then mellows out a little, so but the time your down the full 2.2km it evens out to -16.3%.... so yeah, its steep.
I went the long way round this time, but here is the route (and a write up) on my blog for the shorter (and steeper) climb to the top.

@@StravaigingMTB Riding mid-bonk once, and saw a ditch beside me. Thought "Avoid that", then promptly and for no reason just fell like a tree into said ditch. Unpleasant. lol

Amazing. Whilst doing a big day I forgot the bike park cafe closed did more laps and spent the whole evening silently and staring at my beer unable to function.
