The paddle brush did a pretty good job, but I agree with you. The Felicia Leatherwood detangling brush is the gold standard for detangling tools in my book. I tried so many different brushes and for me, it's the best hands down!

I've been using the Felicia Leatherwood brush at least a year and a half and I ❤❤❤ it. Before that I finger detangled😥. That brush changed my detangling life😍

You're absolutely right about smaller sections when using a Felicia Leatherwood brush to detangle. I have broken a couple of teeth out of mine trying to detangle a large section 😂🤦

I love my Felicia Leatherwood brush! I’ve never been able to get to my roots like I have, with any other brush. (denman or wet brush) It’s a life changer for me.

I waited 4 weeks for the Felicia brush lol, but honestly I've only used it once so far but I do prefer it over the Denman. Worth the wait, less breakage, really it brought out shedded hair (long strands)

that Felicia leatherwood is the truth, I still haven't got my review out but I stopped using it then started back up again using it and its still just as amazing! I definitely want to try out a paddle brush though in the future!

I think I’m the only human who sheds like a dog 😞! I fully detangling with tools and come back and detangle and still have hair anything I use. But my hair still grows 🤷🏾‍♀️!

I'm still debating getting that leather brush. I just use a regular blow dry type brush. Maybe I'll try a paddle brush cause I want to detangle larger sections; make the process faster
