I tried reading this book because of the hype. I DNF’d it before the second chapter. I dis not care for the writing style at all. Thought it was just me, glad it’s not. I have thought about trying it again, maybe I just wasn’t in the mood at my first attempt. Thanks for the honest review, appreciate it. I did subscribe glad you showed up in my feed today.

The fun of reading is that everyone takes something from the story, whether it's good, bad, or neutral. You don't have to agree with everyone else, your opinions are valid 👌. I loved the book, doesn't mean everyone else did.

This is your vlog, and we all have a right to our opinions, so never apologize. I always tell my kids it's ok to agree to disagree with respect. I haven't read this book. I have heard about it, but it didn't sound like a book I wanted to read. I look forward to your next video. Have a nice day 📚😊

I rated this book 4 stars. This is THE book that got me back into my reading journey last september, and I've read 60 books since. However, i think if i were to read this book now, i believe it wouldn't hit the same.

I haven't read very many thrillers. I read this and the second one and enjoyed them, but I didn't consider it a 5 star read. Maybe 3.5. I caught on to the same thing regarding when the last time the couple had sex. Thought maybe Millie didn't know when they went to the fertility Dr. Wife catfishes Millie to kill her husband. I'm going to read the last one in the trilogy. Also read The Teacher. I feel like once you've read a Freida McFadden book you've read them all.

Now, that would have made sense but Millie was standing there trying to talk to Cecelia when they walked in from the appointment! That’s exactly how I feel about her books too! I’ve read The Locked Door & The CoWorker and they were 3 star reads for me! I heard Never Lie is a favorite so I think I’m going to read that and if I don’t like it, maybe call it quits with her books for a little!

Nope, I’ve DNFed the most books I ever have this year! I continued on hoping that the ending was as good as I had heard because with thrillers sometimes the ending can make the entire book, but it definitely didn’t do that in this case!😓

@@dayswiththedoyles That’s exactly why I’m very particular about thrillers because I don’t just want a shocking ending I want a good story from beginning to end.

@musiclovesoul33 I’m usually the same, but when I hear SO many amazing things, I usually give books longer! And then when I have SO many people saying to keep going because it’s a 5/5 ending, my curiosity got the best of me 😅 I’m with you though!

@@dayswiththedoyles When I keep hearing great things I’ll give it a try but the moment it’s not working for me most of the time I’ll dnf. There have been a few times where I kept reading and it was worth it though.

@musiclovesoul33 yep, that’s how it usually goes for me too! And weirdly enough I’m glad I read and finished it because now I 100% know this series is just not for me!
