The BDAs had been tripped to Kingmoor a few weeks back, heading back to Margam via 6V71. They were in for maintenance that was specific to kingmoor, great video.

I went to Crewe a couple of times in 2021 but currently have no plans to go back. To be honest I found it a little constraining. My favourite spots down there are Lichfield and Leamington Spa

Hi Les, great content as usual. Can you answer me a question please? At the southern end of the all-over roof above P3, there are rivetted repairs to the steelwork. The station staff did not know why. I wonder if you, or your fellow enthusiasts know the answer. My family come from the area, but I've not been up since 2018. Thank you.

Hi Les More good stuff here, those steel coil wagons (BDA's ??) do look quite old but I've seen on some of your videos, some really old OBA's and OCA's looking really battered. which must date from the early 1970's I would guess. Great stuff as usual Les. Thanks

Thanks! Well if Great Western can put 80x on Cardiff to Penzance stoppers, why couldn't northern put some on the Leeds Carlisle's and extend them into Scotland. Except it seems ScotRail would not like that - as with truncating the Dumfries to Newcastle trains at Carlisle - a through service now means change of train. Oh and Northern don't have 800s! If they did they would soon be diverted onto other services. The Lancashire and Yorkshire cities don't want 158s so they persist to carlisle

@@melissasmith5109 Ugh. Hydrogen is the stupidest fuel imaginable. It's hard to store, and it's made with electricity. It takes six units of electricity to make one unit of hydrogen. The hydrogen is then burned at about 50% efficiency, so it takes 12 units of electrical power to get one unit of power out of the train. Just use an electric train! Hydrogen as a fuel is the worst kind of fake green.
