I read it as referring to Thalia or just her life in general. Annabeth is a runaway. Her father abandoned her. Earlier in the show, we see her mother try to kill her when Annabeth makes one mistakes. Thalia and Luke are like her siblings, but Thalia is dead and Luke betrays her at the end of this. When Thalia does come back, she joins the Hunters and leaves Annabeth behind. I wonder if the writers are going to explore how Annabeth’s connections to other people have repeatedly fallen apart and how she feels about it. I have personally felt that this is what makes Percy so perfect for her. Her father puts his wife and her children over Annabeth. Her mother puts Olympus and success over Annabeth. Thalia chooses the Hunt and her own survival over Annabeth (which is understandable, but still probably hurts a bit). Luke chooses Kronos over Annabeth. Annabeth is not the priority in anyone’s life, but Percy puts her above everyone. His unyielding loyalty, respect for her, and the way he puts her first… it’s everything she ever wanted and needed. After constantly being betrayed and left behind, Annabeth needs someone she can rely on. So when Percy literally chooses Annabeth over Godhood, it’s all the more special and important to her.

So I imagine Annabeth has a lot of regrets, because her life has kind of fallen apart, her friend is dead, her mother tried to kill her (after Annabeth devoted her entire life to being the perfect daughter of Athena so she could go on a quest one day), and her father doesn’t care about her. She’s going through it.

When I watched this, I was thinking about thalia (I had just re-read the titans curse) it could be her regret on leaving thalia as in the books it does say that she does not like her father but at the same time she isnt in the best relationship, but as you said it could be something completely new!

A good idea! I look forward to seeing if this is her regret or not.
