I grew idolizing iowa but the iowa of late has unfortunately been flat at best, again unfortunately for iowa if you're not at the top of the podium then it's a let down. It would be for me the equivalent of going to doctor school and coming out a nurse, both amazing jobs but not remotely close if you wanted to be a doctor. You go to iowa to be a doctor and for the last several years we keep getting nurses, I know a strange analogy but again you go to iowa to get your hand raised at the top of the podium, unless im wrong 2nd isn't good enough, and 2nd once in awhile isn't a big deal 2nd for 10 years is a huge problem, and also the way there losing is absolutely horrible, the dan gable we all watched growing up was I going to make u pay literally for stepping out on the mat with me, did they lose sure but it took everything out of that guy to beat someone from iowa, these wrestlers now hang on your dang head for 6.5 minutes and shot a few times, real woods might be a amazing person but I'm talking his wrestling that is it, I've seen the guy ranked 1 throughout the year stop taking shots after being up by 1 or 2 points, im sorry but that is not iowa wrestling that is some div 2 school, again u go to iowa to win championship not be 2nd for a decade and counting

Holy hell, I hope so. To get second, we need Caleb, Brock, Robb, Silas to all at least make semis. Lenny and Ridge to make finals. Van Dee maybe semis. Bubba, Trelly, and Nash to battle like crazy in the bloods. I would love to see Nash and Bubba make it. Taking all 10 to NCAAs would be insane.

In his defense that is his point. Teske being stuck with that 14 seed means he's stuck wrestling the 3 seed Bouzakis and probably won't make it out of the first round. I think he was saying probably deserved a 6 seed and then should of been wrestling a 11 seed in the 1st round. I thought his analysis was pretty good. It's going to be rough for us....hopefully we can get a couple champs and some guys wrestle above their seeds.
