Very much enjoyed your video. We love Japan as well. You mention returning in the Spring for the cherry blossoms. I would contend that visiting in the Fall (Oct/Nov) is just as spectacular. The fall foliage is a site to behold. Thanks for sharing your adventure. ✌️

Your vlogs are informative and so much fun to watch! I have especially enjoyed the bus tour ones because they remind me of my Collette tours of Scotland and Ireland. It's the "bags out and breakfast at 7:00 a.m. and on the bus at 8:00 a.m." that especially gives my husband and me big grins. Even though we thoroughly enjoyed both tours and what we saw, the bags out every morning for over a week was a challenge. You should win an award for the Vietnam vlogs in particular. Outstanding job!!

Really enjoying this vlog series as we're thinking of Japan for 2026. I know you can't plan the weather but it's a shame it rained so much on your trips. I was surprised there was no blossom out. The dates change every year but usually the end of March early April is a good time to see it.

Hey guys, we are pretty used to having a Highball as a cocktail. I looked up the ingredients and there was a description of its history. I thought I'd share it: "Cocktail origin stories are sometimes difficult to sort out, and the highball falls into that category. The drink emerged in the late 1890s, and several sources indicate that bartenders in England called whiskey drinks "balls" and tall or "high" glasses were used for such drinks." The Spruce Eats. How bout dem apples? Great videos. Thanks.

In Japan once you enter a room you are to take off your shoes and have the toe section pointed at the door. That is why slippers are there for you to use.

Re. Water in hotel, there is nothing wrong with their tap water, that is probably why they do not give bottled water. you would probably have to pay for bottled water. Cups with no handles are normal in Japan, agree it is not practical in that you burn your hands. Thx. For video. We went to Japan on two cruises for our 50 th Anniversary in 2018. It was great. Agree I like a toilet on the coach. We did have that on an Insight tour in Northern Spain, it was great, fabulous company. Not cheap though. Japanese gardens do not have a lot of flowers anyway, they are more into shrubs, rhodadendrums, bamboo and cherry trees. We had a Wagyu beef burger in Singapore at our Pan Pacific hotel, it was delicious. It is the best beef. How come Carol did not know what drink she ordered ? I suppose it was a language problem, yes it is difficult. I would hate that music where you had the curry. Well done, great video. Thx
