This episode was fantastic! This is exactly want I wanted and so much more! Give me more of this amazing batshit insanity! These are the trippy as hell X-Men stories I've waited so long for! I'm so happy to have these X-Men back as a family because this is what I missed the most! The chaotic energy from the X-Men as they go through hell trying to figure out what the heck is going on. Poor Beast is getting all the flak. In the previous episode, he wanted to run more tests, but the storm demanded the preliminary test results. Always double-check labs. Then, before Beast could try anything, Strom ran away. Beast is my favorite character so far. But I also love Storm. And Beast isn't a miracle worker. The techno virus was more then the advanced future could handle. And you expected Beast to fix it today?. Beast tries his hardest. But the honest truth is that sometimes you can't fit the problem. This isn't CW Flash where any solution can be built in an hour. Let my man Beast go.

So originally, I believe coy’s channel he went into the background of Madeline Pryor, and it was very long storyline, but basically Jean Gray was gone. Cyclops ran into this girl that looked like Jean fell in love got married, had a kid and then Jean came back. What was great is that they kind of threw all that out the window and just said no jeane comes back right now and we’re just going to totally mind shred cyclops in the whole situation

Probably trying not to lose money trying to make her story digestible. She's great and tragic, but to tell her story you have to assume knowledge of Jean Grey, Sinister cloning, a relationship with Cyclops, maybe even the pregnancy, birth, etc. deals with demons, and more... I can't see any world where they'd choose that as an entry point to mutants.

I think the human perception of time is interesting. We tend to believe that what is present was mewant to be because how it came to be because of prior cause and effects. Though, looking forward, we never know what happens until it does, aside from cicrumstantial patterns and the "history repeats itself" thing. So I could definitely be wrong, but Doc is right, the future is what we make of it. Also, all the different factors that shape our lives.

Pretty much. They wouldn't go into it just for the sake of explaining a name choice between all of the stuff they crammed into the episode, but in the comics they reveal that she subconsciously was influenced by Sinister to name him that. Then Cyke's name choices are relegated to middle names for his full name to be Nathan Christopher Charles Summers *Nathan* - Nathaniel Essex *Christopher* - Christopher "Corsair" Summers (Scott's father) *Charles* - Professor Charles Xavier (Scott's mentor) *Summers* - the family name of course (which becomes Dayspring Askani'son)

I think the only time Cable will make his return is when Madelynn makes her return. That’s when they probably will reveal to both her and Scott that Cable is the baby they let go into the future.

So a huge question was kinda answered on when they were swapped out. Remember the flash back when she was on Mr sinister lab table. Well Mr sinister had both jean and Maddie at one time. So I think she was switched out when she was either killed and came back as phoenix is he found her body and switch it out with the other jean or when beyond good and evil happened when Mr sinister was part of that kidnapping of jean .....

Do any students actually go to the school in this series cause it seems like it’s just them in the house like Morph changed into Magik this episode but like where is she? They did the same thing in episode 2 with Psylock but like where she? I hope at some point they start to include more x-men characters and turn the school into a actual school and even show some of the core members teaching like there supposed to, I love the show so far but if they included that it would be amazing and elevate the series so much cause that was one of the many reasons I love x-men evolution so much

If I'm not mistaken, I believe it's the way his powers work - I don't think he really catches on fire like the Human Torch, but that he can manipulate solar radiation. My interpretation is that he is able to keep all the radiation and heat from actually touching his jacket, but I suppose that is more based on headcanon than anything else.

They do, but it was a later expression of his power. When he was first in the new mutants they only showed that he absorbed Solar energy to become super strong. He supposedly absorbed light at such a rate that it wouldn't reflect from his skin and it would become pitch black. Some time in the X-Force era he learned how to discharge his stored energy to fly and as heat blasts.
