The Road to Damascus story appears only in the Book of Acts. Paul's lown letters never give those details.

Richard Carrier has mentioned that a library (or THE library) has been discovered at Pompeii but all the books are burned. However, it might be possible with new technology some day to recover some of this. For instance, many of the Dead Sea Scrolls are so fragile, they can't be unrolled with falling apart. I believe scientists are able to xray the scrolls and using computer software, effectively "unroll" them so they can be read. Since these at Pompeii would date to 79 AD or earlier, it would be before or just at the time of Mark. We might find something that refers to Jesus as a real person, or maybe a letter from Paul where it is absolutely clear he is referring to a cosmic Jesus. Don't hold your breath.

Herculaneum. They're already reading some of them with particle accelerators to isolate the iron in the ink in a 3D model.

The epistles start around 49 AD. Dating John to 95 isn't tenable due to its dependence on Luke: which couldn't have been written until after the Antiquities, and is most likely to be around the 120s. John would therefore be roughly 130s.
