Why would Jews in the right mind make up that Jesus is GOD and in the process all died? The only explanation is that He is!

Muddle more like!! lol - Tovia doesn't grasp that prophesy can have more than one meaning and one level. God isn't shallow! The LORD Jesus Christ did say 'My God, my God...' He was quoting the Scriptures from the Cross. The Psalm referenced Him. Thinking this was applied retrospectively shows a very one dimensional understanding on Tovia's part. The LORD Jesus Christ could say 'my God..' because God is a Trinity of Persons, this is prefigured in Scripture by references to the Angel of God who is also clearly the Lord and the Spirit of the Lord. The Eternal Son became man in the LORD Jesus Christ. Yes, the LORD Jesus Christ was God but He still has from Eternity His Father, it's simple but young Tovia gets a muddled. The words of the LORD Jesus Christ from the Cross is an expression of anguish NOT an actual question; NO Christian actually thinks this is a question for information.

@@marcokite The Gospel says Jesus is not God. The Gospel says do not confuse the servants of God with God. Note 1. A man who does not know the hour is not God meaning do not confuse God with a man who does not know the hour. Note 2. If God is one then the Gospel would teach that Jesus does not know the hour in Gospel of Matthew 24:36. Note 3. If God is three in one then the Gospel would teach both Jesus and God know the hour. Note 4. In the Gospel Jesus is not God because Jesus does not know the hour meaning the teaching that Jesus is God or part of God contradicts the Gospel meaning Trinity was invented after the time of Jesus and after the writing of the Gospels. Note 5. There is only one God because no one is equal to God, not Jesus and not the angels. Note 6. Jesus is like the angels and other creations meaning Jesus is not like God. In the Gospel Jesus is not God or part of God because Jesus does not know “the hour” because only God knows “the hour” meaning “God is one’ not three in one. Note 7. In the time of Prophet Jesus no one believed that Jesus is God because Jesus was delivering the words of God like the prophets before him who all confirmed that "God is not a man" in Numbers 23:19, 1 Samuel 15:29 and Hosea 11:9 and "God is not the son of man" in Numbers 23:19 and "Do not liken anyone or anything to God" in Isaiah 40:25 and Isaiah 46:5 and The warning from messiah king David that “there is no salvation in the son of man” in Psalm 146:3. Meaning Jesus is not God in the sight of all the people who saw him 2000 years ago. The Jewish people 2000 year ago and today understood and understand the meaning of Numbers 23:19, 1 Samuel 15:29, Hosea 11:9, Numbers 23:19, Isaiah 40:25, Isaiah 46:5 and Psalm 146:3 which is explained above and that “God is one” which is the First of the Ten Commandments of God is not the same as “God is three in one” because adding “three in one” violates the commandment of God in Deuteronomy 4:2 "not to add or subtract" to what God has commanded in the Torah for 100,000 years which is the thousandth generation if each generation lived for 100 years in Deuteronomy 5:10 meaning forever in Deuteronomy 29:28 in Jewish Tanakh or Deuteronomy 29:29 in a Christian Bible meaning no one can add or subtract to the commandment that “God is one” by adding “God is three in one” because God has forbidden anyone from doing such a thing so that people can judge true prophets who confirm the word of God from false prophets and dreamers of false dreams who add or subtract from the word of God especially in the first and most important of the Ten Commandments of God that “God is one” not “three in one.”

Psalm 22 is also in the present tense. Can't be a prophecy. Mark didn't intend for it to be a prophecy. It's a literary style called foreshadowing to make it appear that Jesus is like David. The early church claimed incorrectly that it was a prophecy.

@marcokite Poor you.., I was basically drug into Catholicism for 18 years of my life in addition to the baptist deal and thankfully never got baptized. There is only HaShem, and no other. I fully intend to stick with that. My ancestors were killed in Poland, enslaved in Spain and had to hide their Faith thanks to Christianity - No more. That stopped here.. HaShem knows our hearts, and if you truly have Faith in him, he will forgive you for being misguided. That's not your fault.

Yup! Ps 22:16,18 say it all. There are literally hundreds of OT prophecies about the coming Messiah. The other given name-attributes of the Messiah are the Son of God, the Son of Man, the Branch, the Seed of the women, the Redeemer, the Saviour, the holy Stump, the Rock, Immanuel, Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, .... Every one of these name-attributes describe who the Anointed One truly is. Just look briefly at some of these overwhelming prophecies. (Pro 30:4; Zec 6:12,13): The name of the Son of God is *Yeshua [H'Meshiah].* He is the Branch, the only *Priest-King* of Israel in the order of Melchizedek. (Isa 7:14; 9:6 NIV): The child born of the *alma* [ie young maiden or 'virgin'] will be called Immanuel, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, ... (Zec 11: 11-13 cf 1Cor 2: 7,8 NIV): The Lord of Glory was priced at thirty pieces of silver. Thus the afflicted of the flock who were watching Him knew it was the word of the LORD. *Stay safe and blessed in Christ Jesus!*

exactly, understanding(who/mi) was important to KING gd, so his son(what/ma) could save as a messiah(first/ primordial light) ... but that s the rabbi s point. it s not literal to have people worship a dead lamb on a cross. especially, when a sacrifice is meant to purify and wash you clean, its not a god. , The son(what/ma) is the tikkun of the foolish soul garbed in/through the garment of the daughter /kingdom Israel ... dan/judgment 111/ tmhg.. if your question was literal, uhh, Darius is the son that rebuilds the second temple, son of Queen Esther.

Even as the gospel of John is claimed to have the highest level of Christology, we have Jesus saying this after his resurrection, chapter 20:17 - "Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God." This suggests that Jesus' God is God the Father. How does this make sense?

Thank you rabbi you are doing Hashem's work. Can I ask you, how Christians explain why Joseph did not check if Marry was still a virgin whilst pregnant with Jesus? He seemed to struggle to believe her whilst she was pregnant. Why not organize an orthodox midwives as 2 witnesses to confirm she was a pregnant virgin and declare it to the masses? This way they could have convinced a lot of jews about Jesus as it was a confirmed miracle? It would be great to hear your explanation as chat GPT gave silly comment that Joseph did not want to embarrass Marry, which makes no sense if he struggled to accept it. Thank you for all that you do.

It's not very specific....which God? Did he use the power of beelzebub? Which "father" did he work for. It's very vague. If jesus meant the God of Isreal, then he shouldn't have proclaimed his body and blood as sacrifice. If it's a different God, then it makes sense. Because only a different God would sent jesus on a mission/deal that contradicts the Jewish Faith. Blessed be The God of Jewish Faith Hashem ✡️

Lightning Round Answers: *Jesus has a God because God the Father is the God of the spirits of all Flesh. From the womb, Jesus had a God. *Jesus quoted psalms 22 so that those that heard could understand the situation. God heard Him, answered Him, was always with Him, and Jesus completed what he vowed to do. *The agony of knowing was the whole point. Of course Jesus knew what was going to happen.. that's why it was distressing... He didn't have to do it to receive anything.. He already had it. Jesus humbled himself and suffered it for our sake.. not His own.

This explanation of Rabbi Singer is nonsense. King David is not talking about his own predicament. David did not undergo the tortures expressed in this Psalm. Interestingly, Jewish commentators on this passage do not understand the Psalm! It was Jesus on the cross who gave the true meaning, later understood by those who listened to his words.

They divide my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing...Save me from the mouth of the lion; at the horns of the wild oxen You have answered me!...All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD. You confuse 'hell' as in 'hell fire' with hades which includes the Bosom of Abraham which is paradise. Maybe educate yourself? I think that Jesus actually said these words on the cross, or words to that effect. The reason: He expected the Kingdom of G-d to occur before he died. That did not happen so he despaired and said those words. He did not know that he was going to resurrect, he did not think he was THE Son of G-d. He felt at the end that he failed. And guess what? He did. So his followers invented the resurrection so that he didn't fail. It was beyond belief for his followers to believe that he was not special in some way, and when he died the way he did, they had a choice: Either admit that he was a failure or change the story so that he didn't fail. They obviously chose the latter, hence Christianity.

Yeshua being a Jew, knew the messianic prophecies. Although, Yeshua may have believed that he was the messiah, I don't believe that Yeshua told his followers that he would die on the cross and resurrect 3 days later. The reason I believe this is because of this statement. Yeshua knew he was dying and also knew that the messiah doesn't die. Sad!

There is practical agreement between the Mark and the Matthew in regard to the last words uttered by the Son of Man, namely, Eli! Eli! lama sabachthani? - the Aramaic words which are commonly translated in our English Testaments, " My God ! My God ! why hast thou forsaken me? " These are the English words for the first sentence in the Twenty second Psalm. It is probable they were never intended by him who spoke them as a quotation from the Psalm, but were the spontaneous utterance of genuine despair put forth when every hope was lost. Had they been intended as a Biblical quotation they would have been given in Biblical Hebrew, the Sacred Language, and not in vulgar Aramaic. It is possible they were a plaintive protest at Eleazar' Simon Peter Rehem his first born Son failure to rescue him in his dire ex tremity, for the words Eli! Eli! or Eloi! Eloi! as in the Mark are the endearing diminutive of Eleazar which he, perhaps customarily, applied to his only son. Two facts appear to corroborate this view. One of them is that the first sentence in the Syriac text of the twenty- second Psalm reads " lamna shabachthani," and is properly translated " why hast thou forsaken me," while the sentence quoted in the Greek text reads " lama sabachthani," and signifies merely, " Hast thou forsaken me? The diflFerence lies between lamna, meaning "why," and Zo^wa, which is a mere sign of interrogation, like num in Latin, and is not translated in modern English. The second fact is that the Gospel stories relate that immediately after the arrest of the Son of Man in Rome in Garden he was forsaken by the Peter and his military comrades. The Simon Peter Rehem is not reported by any of the Evangelists as having been present at execution and it is possible that the thought which darkened the last moment of the Son of Man was this : Did the Peter, his first-born son, the Jehid, or darling of his very heart, forsake him too? If that be the interpretation, it deserves to stand with the classical last words which another military genius his great grand father julius caesar uttered under somewhat different circumstances to his adopted son, " Et tu. Brute! " On the other hand if they were intended as a despairing rebuke to the deity for failing him and the great cause in the last bitter hour, they are profoundly, immeasurably sad. Coming from the man whose faith was the stronghold that had withheld the hosts of Rome General Titus for the prophetic period of three and one-half years in 70 A.D - from one whose very name was a synonym for that mighty Hebrew power predicted to crush the tyrants of the Goim Rome, these words of dire disaster and desolation bespeak the complete collapse of the fortress of his faith with the breaking of his great heart while nailed to his military Stake

Believe This, the Lord thy God is your redeemer. 25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. 26 Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified. 27 Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me. 28 Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches. But He was wounded for are transgression, bruised for are iniquities, the chastisement of are peace was upon him and by his stripes we are healed. Sin Separates Us from God 1Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: 2But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. 3For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness. 4None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity. 5They hatch cockatrice' eggs, and weave the spider's web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper. 6Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands. 7Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. 8The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace. 9Therefore is judgment far from us, neither doth justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness. 10We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men. 11We roar all like bears, and mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us. 12For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them; 13In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. 14And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. 15Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment. Salvation is Only of God 16And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him. 17For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke. 18According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence. 19So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. The Covenant of the Redeemer 20And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD. 21As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.

Jesus asked his father in The Garden of Gethsemane to let the cup pass from him because he did not want to die a torturous death on the cross. So he asked his father there was some other way. But notice he said father your will not mine. On the cross Jesus was surviving on the comfort of his father's presence within him, but when he became a desecrated temple, filled with the sins of all of mankind, then the spirit of God left him, and he felt the emptiness..

No, it would not have been within Jesus character nor his mission to say anything like that, which, as you know, was yet another attempt to put the mantle of Messiah upon his shoulders, a mantel he definitely rejected when/if he said "my kingdom is not of this world". He could only have been forsaken if he was feeling pain. But his mission, on the cross, included a demonstration of fearlessness in the face of potential pain, which he had already dismissed as a matter of will. Pain, after all, is part of the sin matrix, and it was not Jesus intention to involve Good in any part of S.I.N, defined as Seriously Insane Notions about Christ/Good. If it were possible to dismiss pain, it is also possible to dismiss death, also a factor within the sin complex. If so, this was not a sacrifice, but rather a demonstration of power over the matrix, suggesting to anyone wise enough to notice, that maybe the matrix is not real (the truth), and maybe it can be dismissed (overcome) by a strong appeal to reality (the truth). After all, people only dismiss pain and death is dreams. If this is what happened, then this is indeed a dream from which we only need to awaken.

The question IS a sincere question but Jesus is NOT feeling forsaken for being on the cross it is a question of WHEN will you end it FATHER?..He is saying for the father to TAKE him - he has completed his work!!. This is why he follows with “INTO YOUR HANDS I COMMAND MY SPIRIT”… Of course in the garden of gethsemane Jesus “wrestles”with the question of how he must endure such torment unthinkable suffering. Can you Imagine KNOWING and Expecting the Physical Human Torture you are about to endure.? Despite being God in Spirit??. THIS IS WHY IT IS THE GREATEST EXAMPLE OF HUMAN SACRIFICE BECAUSE IT COMES FROM GOD HIMSELF. Jesus in his bodily form SUBMITS to the Father. He knows This must happen to fulfil his mission. Do Not Treat this Like Some casual Jewish Ritual. Do Not treat this like some paraphrase in text. It is the GREATEST ACT OF LOVE the world will ever know and unless you understand it IS NUANCED by an all knowing God sacrificing Himself for Your Sin, you cannot honestly address this.

Rabbi here is pointing out the Jewish take on the Scriptures, now he has pointed out some discrepincies which need to be noted. He has some very good points as any question would have thoughts about. So the question is why did Christianity split off from Judaism, its worth pondering, one thing for sure Paul is very opinionated and the Christian Church has alot to answer to for the anti semitism against Jews and that they are less than because they have their way to Hashem, G.od put a blessing on them forever. So my take is Yeshua came for the non Jews, as a gift but not to wipe out Judaism and knock Judaism at all. Note it is ascribed to Peter, Simon Bar Jonah, that he dictated the book of Mark, they were very close friends.

Being you "get it", could you please explain this one. Biblical scholars all agree this is a Messianic prophecy. I've asked this several times but no one seems to have the b*lls to answer. Perhaps you can break the cycle. Zechariah 8: 20-23 20 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Many peoples and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come, 21 and the inhabitants of one city will go to another and say, ‘Let us go at once to entreat the Lord and seek the Lord Almighty. I myself am going.’ 22 And many peoples and powerful nations will come to Jerusalem to seek the Lord Almighty and to entreat him.” 23 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “In those days ten people from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say, ‘Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you.’” If Rabbis throughout the centuries got it all wrong, why would the LORD Almighty command people (you) to go to the Synagogue of Satan (you know, where the spirit of Anti-Christ resides) and take firm hold of an Orthodox Rabbi whose father is the devil and you WILL SAY please teach me!!! Please teach me your Torah and Tanakh. Please teach me about this God, the God of Israel, the God of Abraham. Why wouldn't your God command Jews to take firm hold of a Christian pastor? With all of the messianic prophecies in the Tanakh, cite the verse that specifically states that the purpose of the messiah is to fulfill the law? The messiah is born of a young woman not virgin. The messiah must be from the line of David. The messiah must be from the tribe of Judah. Tribe comes from your father. If Jesus was born of a virgin birth, no tribe. The messiah must rebuild the temple, yet it had not been destroyed. Elijah the prophet returns to announce the messiah. No Elijah and I could go on and on.

Rabbi, stop talking about death as if it is the end. This is not your life. The life you have is merely a "Stepping Stone." Death is the beginning , not the end. There is no "God Of Israel." I pray to the same God as you when I am praying to the sun. Yeshua (Pbuh) was an Alien Supernatural Being born in the human world. No human being would be given these gifts. Yeshua resurrected Lazarus in the Bible. Do you want to know how he did it? Lazarus was dead for 4 days. Yeshua "Reversed Aged" his molecular structure by 4 days. After that process was complete, Jesus put his soul back in the body which is located 20 below strings. I don't remember Yeshua saying "My God , Why Did You Forsake Me." Jesus had ONE purpose in life. He was the "Sacrificial Lamb." His ONLY purpose was to make the sacrifice to God for all of humanity and give your species the resurrection. Had he not done this, all of you would be on fire. Rabbi, if any species in this universe had half the sins of humanity, they would all be on fire. Today, "Hashem" has sent another Alien Supernatural being from Heaven to be slaughtered for all of humanity and give your species the resurrection. This should have happened ages ago. The council is even charging me with blasphemy because I changed the day I was supposed to die. I was supposed to die Oct 07, 2023 in my sleep. Your species had a zillion chances to acknowledge me the last 18 years. Who is coming to take me to Jerusalem? My health is precarious, at best.

What is spirit possession? Why do priests cast out evil spirits? How can an evil spirit take possession of a human body? If an evil spirit can take possession of a human body, does that not imply that a good spirit can take possession of a human body also? The human body is designed so that the spirit of the LORD can take possession of it, and the LORD can then "act through that man", the man effectively becoming the LORD. This is by design. The LORD designed the human being this way. If a man is possessed by the Holy Spirit, then no other spirit can take possession of that same human, since he's occupied already by a powerful spirit. But, if the Holy Spirit departs from the man, then another spirit can take possession, under the right circumstances. Basically, each man can have two or more spirits occupying the same body at the same time, his own spirit, which is usually weak and frail, and a dominant spirit which is usually his "teacher", or a whole host of spirits (called Legion). So, Jesus the man, was possessed by Christ the Holy Spirit, and on the Cross the Holy Spirit departed first, leaving the man on the cross alone temporarily. Hence the cry out, it is recorded to reveal that Jesus was possessed by the Holy Spirit during his ministry. Remember, the spirit descended upon Jesus like a Dove during his baptism by John The Baptist.

My God,My God, why have you forsaken me. To understand this, first you need to understand how the one true God manifested as a human being. God manifested as a humanbeing by sending His Word/Holy Spìrit to transforn to become a human being. The new testament says, Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 1 [vs: 20] - [RSV] But as he considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit; That is why Jesus was called Son of God. God did not mate to produce a son, but rather God sends His Spirit (breathe) which is Life to produce or an incorruptible or sinless human being. Jesus is the God's exact DNA as a man. Remember, the breath of God that God sends was deposited in Mary and has become a human being. That is why the Bible says, Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit God created every loving thing to have a seed that is for reproduction. But the seed of a man was corrupted and dead. Psalm 51:10-12**: "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me." David acknowledges that sin has corrupted his spirit and pleads for restoration and renewal. Because human have emotions of sins that will block him of God, God must renew the spirit of a man, to be born again, or the Holy Spirit will create you again or born of God again. We need a new spirit because all humans are dead. The Spirit of God is the Spirit of life. The Spirit of God must revive the spirit of a man again to restore him. So the spirit of God will enter the dead seed or spirit of a man to impart a new life to resurrect him but that new seed must be inncorruptible, free of sin. No man can make himself a pure spirit except only by the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of God. ### 2. **The Prophetic Symbolism of the Suffering Servant**: - **Isaiah 53:10**: "Yet it was the LORD's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the LORD makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand." The seed of the suffering servant are those whom he made a sin offering for. The seed of the suufering servant is the blemishless soul or spirits he will get after the sin offeing for them. Life of all flesh is in the blood (the DNA or seed of a man) but it is cortupted of sin and death. So the Spirit of God himself must enter the blood of a man by giving off a new blood (that is the meaning of Jesus Christ dying, shedding off his blood to take of our corrupted blood and puys his new blood inside of us). Those who deny thebatonemets of oir sins by the blood are still stain with sins and are not child of the God of Israel
