Did Loomian Legacy Just FUMBLE This Update?

I don’t think traders hate mints that much. I for one have been hoping for totem mints to make my rare loomians pvp-viable

just putting this here for context jamie went out and said (admittedly after this video released) that the 2.0 update will in fact be releasing with the loomian stat changes, given that ability and move changes may not make it in. he also said that mints and capsules were never confirmed for 2.0 either. personally (as someone who does pvp every now and then) i think this is fine (considering how i believe that the stat changes will have the most effect of the changes) as long as the ability and move changes arent delayed out for too long and if anything may help to give the devs time to see how balanced things are with the new stats.

For clarification cause there is a bit in the video that is wrong: Stat changes are confirmed to be in 2.0's release The battle changes (abilities, moves, etc), will be somewhere in between season 0 and season 1 Mints and patches were never confirmed to be a part of 2.0 and that was just the community assuming things. Those are being saved for a future feature, likely raids or something else

I don’t know why they haven’t added mints yet, it can’t be that hard to implement, it’s sort of been done for leshent. Capsules i understand, cause sa gammas are very rare, but it’s so dumb to not add capsules yet. Pokémon games do it and everyone is happy

agreed, as a (very filthy) casual in pvp, I can gladly wait to have the major major stuff, especially since I can save up battle tokens for the items (since I am...going to need SO MANY of the main things like patches/capsules and mints)

I can see why so many people are disappointed but personally, I'm not all too mad. The only thing that makes me mad are the stats reworks not being on release. Im not mad about no mints/capsules either as Jamiy has said multiple times that they weren't guaranteed, and even if they were, it would be a long time until they were added.

@@scoobydoo3557 First, youtubers and Roblox do. Second, the point isn't if the LL community is patient or not, it's that the community gets mad over not getting things that were never promised. The Atlanthian Part 2 thing is way different because that was delayed A LOT, but they added what they promised to add on part 2. In this case, LTS said *nothing* about adding mints or whatever, that's the community getting mad just to get mad. And third, minor spelling mistake, I win. "We're been"👍

In terms of the pvp items like mints and stuff, this is why I always felt like trading being such a big part of the game would be bad for this type of update since it’ll completely mess up value. In Pokémon it doesn’t really matter as much because trading is such a small side thing that it doesn’t really matter, so the VGC being the big part of the games makes it so much better for there to be things like mints and ability patches and capsules. It’s gonna be tough for them to have a compromise for both sides of the community.

I think the solution could be as simple as giving marks to loomians that have changed abilities or personalities like the pvp leshent. It wouldn't effect pvp and it wouldn't affect values.

has a new-ish PvPer, i feel like this update has became really dry. i have been waiting for mints and ability capsules to be released ever since they were first announced by jamie. i have a box filled with loomians that REALLY NEEDED this to be viable, has i don't have many other options. sure, the dream team feature is nice, but i'd like to use my own loomians that ive stored for years now.

I just like any new updates, they show that the devs still care about the game and want to continue working on it. I couldn't be bothered to give a single fluff about what the update specifically has, but they all represent a desire to keep the game alive, and I respect that. In a more specific note, I am more than hype for pvp 2.0, battling is my favourite part of the game, and having an entire updated dedicated to it will be great, even if it's late on the mark or lacking in promises in the end.

Bruh, mints change everything. It makes all loomian in our box are not just trashes. We want to use all reskins or gammas as pvp able. Everything are overprice now when people try to make their dream team and its not fair. Why dont just they make mints rarer rather than make it never happen?

I just don't understand the point to release the update in this state. It's called "PVP 2.0", but people will be using the same teams and same moves for about half a season. And I don't understand why mints and patches aren't coming. They LITERALLY DID THEM with PVP-ready leshent. Why not just return old NPCs (Which is 2) and give them new roles: changing nature and ability. I think the update should be delayed at this point for at least to be released with the stat changes.

LL had their halloween event and introduced soulburst hoganosh, added new updates to profile adding backgrounds, borders and badges to them. PVP 2.0 is coming november 20th. TOT added halloween update collaborating with Roblox Doors, adding mutated shinies every weekend now too.

I'm also not super fan of PVP I been too lazy for PVP training to boring to me and I don't want to play Loomian Legacy so much everyday It's sadly not the same fun I had with Brick Bronze I use to play that non stop Brick Bronze only. That I choose to enjoy just in memory I watch KZbinrs that played it in the old days 2015-2016 like Thinknoodles, RussoPlays, ThanxCya that are still awesome youtubers to me that's my nostalgia way as I dispise PBB copies. Despite I have little love for every CCG I still plan to stay with them I still have my hope in me seeing them grow well someday I choose to stay with CCG's forever. I only choose to PVP for fun once in a while I always enjoyed being a good sport win or lose and to me that's the best way to be.
