Just in case you were wondering, I use to play breeze and in 2021 the owner sold the server (and stopped the game) I think to some random people that turned it into a community server and then someone gave everyone admin and the server ultimately got deleted.

As a self-proclaimed Pokemon Brick Bronze copy historian, I’m surprised not much people have talked about this. the PBB reupload community is a MASSIVE rabbit hole that spans over half a decade. For some more info on Pokémon Breeze, it was initially just a PBB clone with legendary starters but evolved into a mosh pit of offshoots and ploys to get more players. They added randomized wild encounters (which is believed to have been the reason the original PBB made a randomizer mode!), Pokemon spawning and iirc an entire Pokémon Showdown-esque Colosseum mode. Really interesting fiasco. There might have been some drama between devs holding the code hostage or something that prevented it from being reuploaded after a bit, I think. After, I believe the devs decided that they were going to use the engine to make their own Pokémon fan game called Creation of Zygarde, and it was actually looking really promising, but it very quietly disappeared. I don’t usually make comments, especially long ones like these, but this is a topic I’d say I’m fairly knowledgeable about since I was one of those kids that couldn’t accept PBB’s death for a while. Omg I remember Pokémon breeze, it was my first pbb game. My starter was zapdos and I kept wondering when it would evolve. And then I discovered my love absol/mega absol I only used it and I love how they chose absol to be apart of the story :)

Not only that, but they added something where if you log in and log out after saving, you get 1 master ball, which I abused back then to get an unlimited amount of master balls which helped me get legendary pokemon in the grass that were way to high levelled, but one thing I do regret was wasting all my master balls on a team before entering the volcano because I kid you not, I had an encounter with an Arceus (level 80 I think?) And I was completely out of masterballs. Oh and my starter was Palkia

A fellow historian of PBB copies from Mid - Late 2018 you also forgot to mention PBB:R which was a notoriously popular copy back in 2019 made by rattati2001, PBB:R to my knowledge was the most accurately made PBB copy during its era with even some minor cutscenes which are not usually included in the game, The rise of PBB copies emerged from Late 2018 during the time when not all PBB copies were taken down and during this ROBLOX wasn't particularly trying to take down PBB as extensively as they do now, Developers would get a hold of some poorly made PBB copies refine them these copies on average lasted about 2 months after ROBLOX cracked down, Project bronze forever now known as PBF pioneered the PBB scene on Roblox which still leads to the inspiration of many popular PBB games on Roblox, now another PBB copy i would like to mention that I don't remember the name of quite well the game had a remastered Gale forest and you could encounter starters in the wild the game was damn near perfect in everything from lighting and to sprites but during this tbradm and lando decided to delete the sprites and assets for pbb which led to disaster of course these assets were recovered later down the line but the project was discontinued which disheartened us. Although the game has been down for now 6 years the fact that Thousands of people has a unparalleled love for Pokémon brick bronze really warms my heart.

The best PBB I've found is Pokemon Bronze Forever, which is just Brick Bronze, but there's a discord server which gives you the game link when it gets reuploaded and saves your data. Anything else I've found either doesn't work or gets deleted after a day or two

Man, PBB is not only what got me into Pokémon, but also got me into Roblox. I have so many memories playing that game lol, like the Bibarel that had me stumped, asking my grandparents not to take me back home yet because I wanted to catch Kyogre, and, my personal favourite, the guy who traded me a Mega Diancie out of nowhere. Honestly after brick bronze was taken down I did play LL a lot, I spent probably close to 50 dollars on it. However the slow updates made me move towards PBF and it’s just easier to play them because there’s so much more content and it’s way more fleshed out. Maybe once they finish the game I’ll go back to LL but it’s honestly insane they still only have 4 gyms after 5 years. I also had data loss and lost a lot of my Loomians so I’m not sure I want to do all that work to get them back.

It’s just a whole mess in general. The developers of PBB (at no fault of their own) released LL way too late for most original players, who had already found PBB copies or something else. The thing is, players don’t have much patience in large scale, it’s why anything other than weekly and monthly updates are questioned.

I have finished 1 of these copies and I may play just 1 and never play one EVER again I will get the experience of my favorite old game and then I will stop. I can understand why people continue to hunt down PBB copies, but the OG devs of the game politely asked people not to reupload it, and then pretty much got told "lol no" by the reuploaders. I miss PBB, I played some copies in a moment of weakness, but I cannot forgive the copiers for continuing to go against the originals devs' wishes, especially after being asked not to. I also do know LL doesn't get updated a ton, but for what it is, it's a pretty neat game, in my opinion. There are some super cool monster designs, I like the story so far, especially Jake's inclusion for the people who played the original game, and I also like some of the QOL changes from typical Pokémon-styled games. Unless something super bad happens with the devs, fingers crossed, I will continue to support them over anybody who keeps trying to bring PBB back.

The creators of pbb stole arts, designs, and concepts from pokemon and rightfully got their a$$es handed to them. @@grayfullbuster2545 Honestly, I can get behind that viewpoint-the OG devs *should've* made an original game to start with, and all of this could've been avoided in the first place. Before the ban hammer started going down on a lot of copyright-offensive games, I think a lot of people just used existing properties to get plays, and Pokémon is, obviously, quite a lucrative franchise, so why not use it when nothing was happening legally? This all, of course, until Nintendo saw their existing IPs were being used to line other people's pockets, it was just to be expected. Not saying it was ever a good thing-you're entirely correct there-Nintendo was completely within their right to strike PBB (and other IP-based games) down because you just know the devs were making a KILLING on the more popular games that used their assets, designs, etc.. However, I do believe that PBB shouldn't be constantly reuploaded, even if the devs were in the wrong. Playing a reuploaded game that used stolen assets, no matter who it's being uploaded by, is still playing a game with stolen assets, usually just with a slightly new title, or a coat of paint. Who's also to say the people re-uploading PBB aren't making an absolute bucket load of cash off of micro-transactions and plays. If you ask me, the people who re-upload are just as guilty as the OG devs.

You know whats funny? Nintendo could've literally just reached out to lando and tbradm to make brick bronze into an official pokemon game and would have made millions off from it. Pokemon fans loved it, roblox fans also loved it everyone loved the game because it has outdone it self and it even outperformed lots of modern age pokemon games as well. Nintendo could've done this instead which not only removed one of the biggest competitors in pokemon games but also maybe bringing out an actually good modern pokemon game unlike that crap sword and shield. Hell, they don't even have to do much to make the game good to begin with. The plot was good but need some adjustment, the game mechanics could use some small reworks, and slam better graphics and modelling on it and BAM you got a good pokemon game. The only big issue brickbronze even remotely had was its predatory microtransactions which isn't really even a issue.

No. 4 gyms in 5 years in Loomian Legacy is not good enough. Hate to say it but Lando and all the other original Brick Bronze devs are washed. There are better Brick Bronze copies now that have added on to the game, added more Pokemon, save data and bring the game back up the same day, and are popular. These copy devs are putting in more work than Lando and his team. Look up Pokemon Brick Bronze Forever. The game gets taken down sometimes, but it's always back up the same day with all your data saved. Just an improved version of the original. Events and everything.

@@jaguwa4816 To add onto this, LL is WAY TOO grindy for my taste, even with gamepasses that were transferred over from the og PBB. Pretty sure this is a skill issue on my part but for the life of me I can't play this game for more than like 30 minutes without getting bored because I'm barely progressing at all. Also, as an ex pokemon fan, learning that meta was already hard enough for me, and I'm still kinda dumb when it comes to movesets and stat calcs and such. Having to learn an entirely new meta with new types, moves and mechanics is a big no for me.

Brick Bronze copies are a thing, due to how many players who are PBB veterans not wanting to move on and play original fakemon games like LL. They have intentions which is something to preserve the legacy of Brick Bronze. Those copies also feature Roria league for some reason, sounds like those devs has attempted to finish it with more content (post-PBB shutdown times). It's unfortunate there are people who wouldn't move on to play original games derived from copyrighted content like Loomian Legacy, Doodle World, and Tales of Tanorio (recently released), and prefer the classics like Brick Bronze

the death of brick bronze did bring in loomian legacy which is a really good game, but the fact that they have to come up with concepts of loomians, new moves abilities and models makes the process so much slower than having it all for you

Here are some unnecessary information for the history of Pokemon gerne game on Roblox: Project: Pokemon was the second popular Pokemon-based game after PBB back then, using retro 8 bits looks, and it got the same end as PBB, its dev has been making a fake pokemon game too, Doodle World, but it's more popular than LL, even though it has only one dev been making it LL has a NPC which came directly from PBB end, but then the lore is just a straight line, about the protagonists and antagonists, one sided story, when in DW, there are many sides, and many side quests upon playing.

One reason that has kept me from fully being invested in the plot of Loomian legacy is the fact because BB was never finished and I myself never got to finish it despite playing from when the game was in beta. Like, we never got an explanation on how Tess is travelling (although I’m sure it will be explained) but I think it’s an issue of closure. Personally I would like to be able to finish one story before starting a new one.

hi im pretty experienced in development / copy setups, pretty much the way people make copies of games like this (can happen to ANY game) 1. developers inside the game take a copy and distribute it out, much more uncommon but makes the copy of the game flawless and perfect 2. talented scripters perfectly recreate the game manually, making the copy - albeit differently coded, seem the exact same as the original just thought id let yall know incase u were curious

I feel like Pokémon Brick Bronze could work as a ROM hack since: A) It would be much harder to monetize off it than how it's done on Roblox. B) It can actually give the players what they want by bringing back their childhood while not profiting off nostalgia. C) Making it a ROM gives the chance to tweak certain aspects of the original game to make it better and more enjoyable. But anyways, yeah, the current situation with the PBB copies on Roblox is unfortunate for the LL devs, and I do hope something can be done to stop the copies for good.

what roblox can do is make all of the pokemon images content deleted. As you can see they are used in battles, so it would help in reducing these clones.

I remember playing pokemon breeze back when it was released less than 3 weeks ago. I ended up being able to play up until reaching silver city It was deleted most likely due to copying the game's code. Im sensing foreshadowing which is pretty funny.

The Main Reason simply is because it was one of the games during the pinnacle of Roblox. Many players quitted along with PBB's demise. that Game even though it has its flaws, created many bonds and memories.

Very late comment but Pokemon Breeze is no longer around. I still talk a lot with the main developer and he's doing his own personal projects and going through college. The other developer I have no clue about but am very confident he's no longer associated with Breeze, if not outright away from Roblox as a whole. It is very unlikely to ever come back.

Brick bronze had some guts to ever exist in the first place, with Nintendo's legal team being the beast it is. Nothing but respect for the original, I've tried the copies and they have not brought me back to 2016 unfortunately, so I am done with roblox.
