The guy gave his heart and soul to this team and the city and was never really fully appreciated for that. People need to remember 2015 and how great he REALLY was. RIGHT AFTER TJ. Real nice to see him doing well!!

Yes love this. Harvey day was something to look forward too! Should be remembered for that time and not the time after the injuries!

I was totally behind letting Harvey finish that game. He was our Ace and he threw an amazing game. Were it not for the physical breakdown he would have been up there with our other superstar pitchers of the past. Glad he's landed on his feet.

Nobody was happier or louder than me in support when 33 came out of the dugout in the 9th. I will not second guess it now.

Jay Horwitz is a Mets legend. I can't remember him ever saying a bad word about any player....worker....or front office personnel in the organization. Hes not only a true orange and blue Met.....hes also a great person. Every time i see him about to talk to a Mets personality i know he will be upbeat and gracious in the conversation. When he's gone a lot of people are going to be sad

Don't worry he has and he has been to a bunch of Mets games in person these last few years especially. Mets will always be open and home for him

Matt Harvey out-talking manager Terry Collins into letting him stay in a 2015 World Series game was a reason for them losing.

Harvey....in baseball terms....had a tough career. Theres not too many pitchers that go from the top of the game to a fading memory in just a few years. He was one of the most electric pitchers when he was a Met and unfortunately for him i don't believe he ever got the huge payday that everyone expected he would get..... would have been nice to see him healthy in a Mets uniform for many more years. Its pretty impressive to have buildings in NYC displaying you as the Gotham Knight.

@t206kid8 ай бұрын
I agree somewhat, but at the same time Gooden had a very impressive (and long) career. 194-112 record, a CY Young award, Rookie of the Year, 4 time all star, 2 time WS champ, pitched a no hitter, almost 2,300 career K's, a career 3.51 ERA. Harvey was 50-66 with a 4.42 Career ERA, 1 time all star, not even 900 k's, only won 10 games or more once in a season and only had one year where he made over 30 starts (and he had almost a 5 ERA that year). Doc is a Hall of fame all time great compared to Harvey.
