Still remember being all shocked seeing Steve being the 7th fighter in Super Smash Brothers Ultimate DLC. He can build his own platforms, broken recovery, Minecart, sets up and sometimes the player doesn't need to approach. He is just too Powerful, Steve and also _Kazuya Mishima._

To put it simply it’s like having a timer, when ever you slap someone they have a 1 second timer that they can’t get around so thier opponent can play get combos and hits off. It’s a very balanced mechanic, but now imaging a character doesn’t have a timer but you do. He can easily avoid major damage while if you make one wrong move he can easily pull of a should be impossible move, To put it simply Steve is unbalanced because he can cancel out a major move and because he wasn’t ment for pvp he was giving a lot of moves to try and balance him but ended up giving him a very wide amount of options to screw around with
