This series has done more for my religious education than any school teacher, mentor or even parent could in the 30 years of my life. It has made me introspect more than any therapist. It has given context to so many concepts about my deen that I didnt have the vocabulary for before. My journey of return towards Allah had already begun before this series started but the day I watched the trailer, I knew Allah sent it my way. I tried following last year's Ramadan series fully, however my beloved father passed away on the 21st Shab, and so I wasn't able to finish it. Still can't bring myself to watch those last videos of the series. This year, though, I watched all 30 of them, and benefited greatly from it. Alhamdulillah! Anytime in life while I'm going through a similar phase of turmoil, I'd come back to this series & re-watch the relevant video. They will restrengthen me for sure, and the Ajar will always go to Ustaad Omar Suleiman. May Allah bless him greatly, in this Dunya and in the Hereafter! A bittersweet farewell to all.
