Police reform is a big issue for me, yet none of these debates so far have addressed the topic of police reform. As a neurodivergent Black/African American man who experienced panic attacks during the 2020 pandemic, I am highly insulted and disappointed that no one on these political stages, in legislative chambers, and the benches of the judiciary gives a care about police-involved lynchings of Black/African American males in this country. When I go vote, it feels like I am signing my death sentence.
