Blue and yellow are my favorite nail polish colours, I'm glad Holo Taco makes polishes in those colours despite them not selling as well as others. It's impossible to find good blues and yellows from mainstream brands.

I appreciate Cristine being honest about how long it takes to lock in the pigments. I keep seeing other brands say 15-20 seconds is all you need and that just never works to get a good effect. A minute ish is much better to be realistic!

I don't really want to demand anything because you already do SO MUCH. But the grading of the detectives work is one of my favorite features during the last 2 launches. They're too crazy in there for me to keep up with all their findings. Please keep adding this if not during the launch, randomly throughout the year.

I'm a little surprised blue doesn't sell as well? Maybe I'm just biased af because it's my favorite kind of color to wear lol. I prefer super bright blues though and don't wear darker blue except maybe in winter

Its probably because she keeps releasing almost the same identical shade of blue in every finish she does (probably because she likes that shade of blue herself, don't fault her there), but like its such a ridiculously common shade of blue that you can get elsewhere (often for cheaper if you're an international customer since import fees more than double the price of a bottle, but buying from a stockist doesn't do this). So it just ends up being boring.

🐐🐐🐐 Detective chat is always such lovely chaos. Also I can confirm that having two nail magnets come together on your finger hurts a lot. I had two magnets snap on my skin slightly and I could still see the mark from it a couple of days later.

I don't like blue polishes and don't tend to go for them, but it surprises me that it isn't the best selling color overall. I feel like I see lots of collections go in a blue direction 🤔 but maybe that makes it harder to pick and choose? Congrats on this! I was wondering when you were going to do magnetic! I might get a shade or two later on if there is any left or relaunches. I reaaaaally love Fairy Tail and this is a pretty decent launch. The blue is pretty, but since it isn't as drastic, it reads on camera to me like a really pretty shimmer. I am sure that it would be different on the hand in front of me, but it just doesn't grab me. The visual of the nails and what it looks like with and without does look really good though! Even if I am not jumping at the seems to get any or all doesn't mean that's it's bad, and it just makes me excited to see what other combos of magnetic you are going to do.

Excited to grab Fairy Tail either this month or next. If you make magnetics with other types of flakes in them, or with stronger/more differential duochrome shifts, I’ll be on Cloud Nine. There are some brands with pretty polishes that I don’t shop from because I hate their product sectioning and filtering system, swatch photos, or review display system. Holo Taco is one of the few brands I find reliable. I know the HT collection is only going to grow as time passes, so even if I forgo buying most new releases, I always stay on top of them and what types of shades and formulas you’re creating. Knew magnetics were gonna come eventually and looking forward to seeing where else the brand goes in the future. *cough*thermals?reflectiveglitters?*cough* I need to join some of these sleuth forums lol

Twice in a blue moon is actually the first color i used to paint my nails. I never go for blue but this one is so stunning! tried the french tip but need more practice. thanks cristine!

I can totally understand the brown selling best. It makes sense because all the other colours are very easily available elsewhere, but brown magnetic polishes are pretty rare. Like I was interested in the collection being magnetic until I saw the colours and realised that they were mostly the same shades as previous collections just in a different finish (except for the brown) and that I already have 3 different green magnetic polishes which are all way more interesting than the plain magnetic polishes these are. Like one has holo and flash reactive pigment in there with it. Another is a multichrome, and the other is a bit more simple but has a ton more dimension than the holo taco one does in the promo video. So yeah, not surprising that the unique one did better than colours which have been available from other brands for years. It does feel a lot like holo taco is just trying to play catch up with all the other indie brands out there. Like I was so excited that holo taco was going to be a thing, and then every single release has been disappointing compared to what I can get elsewhere for cheaper. Perhaps if I could actually get them at an international stockists it might be different since it costs way more to import things as an individual than a business. But currently its prohibitively expensive to buy direct from holo taco for products which just aren't that unique sadly.

Okay but here out for a stream idea. Magnetic formula but you test it out with various different magnet to see what happens, especially the world strongest magnet.
