@@master1sa exactly, the referee accounted for the interruptions in additional time toward the end of the 9 minutes, that's why it is 11 minutes. It is physically impossible for the ball to be out of play for the whole 2 remaining minutes, so your logic breaks down. And if the whistle for offside hadn't gone, it was more likely that the defenders would close down de ligt's shot, and for lunin to be alert to it. So overall, there are too many factors that would determine if Bayern were actually robbed of a goal at the end.

The ref told the coaching staffs at 10:30 in overtime that the game was ending in 2 minutes. (Which should have been 50 seconds at most) then proceeded to give bayern an additional 3 minutes, all the while leading the defense into believing that the game was about to end at any moment. This was unfair to Real, but I don’t see anyone pointing it out.

That's not the issue here. The Madrid defender had his hands on Kimmich's neck and pushed him. And the German player fell before the goal was scored. You just can't allow a goal that occurs after a violation of a rule.

Had Bayern Munich got to the final it would've been injustice. Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund in the final at Wembley would have been bad. I highly doubt that any English club fans in London would be happy about an all German final at Wembley if that had happened. There would have been riot going on. In the end Real Madrid has saved football for the 2nd time this season after the following the Man City win in the quarter finals.

You are making two big assumptions: 1) that it wasn’t in fact offside 2) that if referee had not stopped the game, and Real defenders and goalie had not stopped playing, the play would have occurred exactly the way it did. If anything the referee should have blown the end of game whistle as the time he had himself indicated was already passed. One wonders if the sideline referee wasnt trying to save bayern time so they could score. If the pass was in fact offside, allowing the play to continue would have run the time out for bayern guaranteeing they lost the match because the play would have taken at least 10 seconds, celebrations 30 seconds, a d VAR check to disallow for offside 1:30. People talking about “rubbery” should consider that possibility as well.

​​@@gbossmanthe lines show that the move was actually onside, and either way the linesman is not supposed to flag for offside when it's extremely tight like that, they're supposed to let the move finish then flag it to allow VAR to check it. Bayern may well have been cost a perfectly fine goal thanks to the linesman not doing his job properly with modern rules around VAR.
