He basically wants to challenge Sett to "give him fatherly lessons", but then get mad at Jack's crew because it's stolen. As for why Samira went to see The Old Timer, it is possible that LeBlanc knows Sett's father's real identity and wants him to "pay" for his betrayal from Noxus. All just my thoughts though hahaha

In the voice lines of the old timer he multiple times says that he is fighting in the arena for the price money and nothing else. We allso know this due to how the only other reasons the old timer could have for fighting in the arena are eliminated by there own, he is not in the arena to see his family because he has a mask and he is not fighting for Glory because he would not be hiding his identity if he wanted to be known. That means that when he says that he "lost everything" and wants to "Win everything back" he is talking about Winning the price money and paying of a debt.

Jack is a loyal imployee of Tahm, but still has the hat that marks him as having a loan to pay Tahm likes his prey to marinate to the point they would feel the most despair at the loss of all they have. A possible outcome is that if Jack does win over Sett, Tahm would come to collect his debt- Jack knowing this would tell Tahm not to come Or perhaps at Jack's loss to Sett he would claim it The demons are some of my favorite beings in the Runeterran lore so I hope they get more love. Having a demons disciple get his own card and becoming a champion, it feels kinda bad with all the potential left on the table

He's an old misterious noxian that we only know is very strong and is not working for noxus. Samira says there's aways a history to it ,a something else (flavor). He was (is) very strong, powerfull, and it being Noxus, my bet is: Samira is after him, probably the story she has is that he was a high ranker that became a dessertor and a lot of ppl didn't take very kindly he leaving. But he actually know of the black rose (he either found out and had to leave for his life or worked with/for them, but he left knowing too much), so, he gotta be dealt with. Why are one of them burning Jack's boat? idk, stylish for the pic and distraction for their actual action?

Something to point out / maybe think about with the story the cards tell (at least, for who Samira is after) - The person that Samira is hunting down isn't Jack, or at least not fully Jack, since I didn't check Infernas card art to see it was Jacks ship in the background, but in Samiras level up animation the first frame of it shows a picture of The Old Timer, and then has her chasing after him. Maybe that's why (if he is actually Setts father) he left, because he had a debt he had to pay and he couldn't pay it back in time so he left and went "off the grid" as it were, and only recently came back to which Indari instantly got Samira the job to go after him. If anyone pieces it better to make more sense, that'd be better. I just think it makes sense seeing how Samira was hired to go to Setts fighting arena to claim debt from someone there. Possibly a fighter. And since Sett even has a voiceline with Jack where he says "I've never heard of you", hence his not inviting Jack, it'd make more sense that he's heard of The Old Timer and invited him out to fight. Samiras agent got the information that The Old Timer would be heading to that particular area for what seems to be a massive fight. Jack being there is just a coincidence.

Okay this video had some missing details or explanations so let me sum them up from other comments as well as myself: - Fighters' order is: Dashing Dandy vs Pit Professional -> Pit professional destroys him -> Nukkle, Mako & Bull fight her and win (prob because they just want to fight) -> They go back -> Jack & Sett enter the arena and fight. - As some have pointed out, Samira is running after the Old Timer in her lvl up, in which, right at the beginning, we see what looks like some "WANTED posters" of the Old Timer in Noxian. This suggests that Samira is going after him. Also the voicelines heavily implies this as well. - In the Old Timer art we see him beating up Nukkle when Samira is approaching him, and taking into account that the lvl up animation is happening at the border of the arena this is likely happening during Jack vs Sett combat. - Inferna is not the only one destroying Jack's boat, Father Fury is also doing so. To me this is strange because those are Samira's followers but are Bilgewater cards. Also no reason why they are doing that, does Samira know who's Jack? Some more trivia: - Another Bilgewater card tied with Samira is Brazen Buccaneer, which we can see her trying to steal Setts coins, the wired fence(?) in the art is the same as in Attentive Accountant, although it is not him she is threatening, prob just a worker. Again, no apparent reason. - Dame the Despoiler is jumping into the arena as soon us Dashing Dandy is defeated, but we do not see any of this in any other card. - Bull is fighting Elegant Edge, I think this is happening during the chaos of Samira's chase. - Pocket Picker is stealing from Angel (a card from this expansion that wasn't showed here). - In the Five-Punch Pablo art we see him, in the Ionian arena, assisting Jack who is beaten up, so Sett's fight was rough.

I dunno how important voice lines are to canon lore but Jack and Sett end up being tag team partners. That's neat!

Father Fury might be more science than magic, considering his lightning is drawn to the metallic objects.

I have to point out Father Fury is in Jack's ship. You can sort of guess when you look at the destruction around Father Fury.
