Fun fact: in the early stages of Kayn’s lore, he was planned to be released as the rival of Xayah and Rakan. They decided not go through with it because it took away from his personal struggle against Rhaast, so maybe this is them exploring this territory again.

This lore really make me like Rakan a lot more and see him as a genuine good guy, rather than the annoying show off we saw before. Rakan's a great contrast to Xayah. I am also really glad Zed gets more lore. Zed is honestly one of the most interesting champions, he believes in his cause even with all of Ionia against him fighting every major faction in the region. Plus with every mention we learn a bit more about shadow magic and the mysterious powers it provides. Personally hope we get some Zed focus lore base animation since he is one of the most complex characters in League and his powers are so visually interesting. Would love to see a short movie that shows more of what accorded during the Noxian invasion

Personally....Zed is one of the coolest champions in Runeterra lore. And probably one of the strongest due to his mastery of Shadow Magic and fighting skill that goes on par with the Eye of Twilight. He fights everyone in Ionia and welcomes everyone at the same time. Hell he even is in the Project lore and is totally badass since he is an assassin hunter ther. He is honestly amazing. I wanna see more of him.

I've thought that a good VGU for Amumu would be to have him as a boy (maybe an ancient prince or something) who was imbued or resurrected with the one missing World Rune (see the Ryze cinematic from a couple years ago), which became infused into his body. Unfortunately, while Amumu was brought back to life, his curse is barely being able to control the maelstrom of a magic battery inside himself, effectively giving him the "curse" of being a walking, constantly in pain weapon of mass destruction, hence why he's so lonely.

Personally I like Rakan a little bit more than Xayah, because despite hating the humans like Xayah he still offers them a chance that magic can be used for good and not for war. Xayah on the other hand feels like she doesn't care about humans suffering and dying after they destroyed the quinlon to destroy an entire town. I know it's part of her character but if I were Rakan, I should've noticed that Xayah has become a little bit of a racist bitch. EDIT: At least she left a message to the woman to escape the town along with those injured monks.

I think that this is why their couple is great. They are learning from each other, and in the end, it might make them better persons. Xayah would never have saved the monks before, but because of Rakan's influence, she did. Hopefully, she will start seeing the world as Rakan sees it, just like Rakan started seeing the world through Xayah's eyes.

I think in the old lore, when she was a kid, xayah did try to come to a human village and try to befriend them, but those were “bad humans” who tryna “rob her off her feathers” (and i think they hinted at sexual assault also) - so thats really gave her extremism some depth The adjusted one just make her bad now and took all the depth away

interesting. Quinlons dont just limit magic, sometimes they filter it instead. so only GOOD magic comes out. Zed's shadow magic comes from harvesting the negitive magic, that got filtered out. he is still just using the natural magic of ionia, but it was filtered to be JUST the negitive magic. not BAD, NEGITIVE. anywho, its odd because it seems like zed only uses this magic for his ideals of defending ionia from noxus. yes, zed's original need for the shadow magic was to help BALANCE ionia(going against his in game voice line "Balance is weakness." because he was trying to oppose the kinkou. not really thinking balance was weakness, but saying such to make the kinkou hate him further. he wanted to help balance ionia by keeping the kinkou in check.

Ok. All this lore is great and all, but I really need some more vayne lore. For one, she is hunting evelynn. Which is interesting in and of itself. And two. While in game. She is portrayed as a typical, overly serious hunter. In lore, while that may be true. She is sadystic as hell, enjoys causing her enemies pain and suffering. And will not think twice about killing her enemies in a heart beat. I wanna see more of THAT please!

I kind of wonder if it was really Zed who was fighting Xayah in the temple. Maybe he left a clone in the temple and that's what she was fighting? When the Quinlon was falling and Zed about to land the killing blow you can see that Zed kind of fades into shadow as the shards start to hit him. Maybe I'm reading too much into this, though, I don't really know how Shadow Magic works in the LoL universe.

I’m pretty sure in addition to cloning, he can also canonically shift his body into shadow. I’ve never played him in game so I don’t know if he has an ability like that in game but it would make sense that he could just fade away, incorporeal based on what I do know from both the cinematic and reading his comic
