I think ru was mad because they had planned for raja to win. Then yvie did this making it not fit their narrative.

you know 100% ru wanted raja to win that money. like its clear as day. raja is her home girl and thats just decided before the lip sync smackdown even started. ru knows it and the queens know it. that money was for raja probably before the season even began filming. even not putting her in the top 4 was part of all of that. so ru knowing that before the lip syncs even start is going to act the performance she knows is needed to get the outcome she wants. point blank period. its not even debatable at this point.

Tbh i just think ru didnt like the reveal. Revealing to the wig cap wasnt necessary and she doesnt like unpolished stuff like that

Yvie even admitted to doing this because he knew they hated the wig and he already did this reveal earlier in the season. Why would anyone like something that was done already? It’s the finale, get some new material. That’s why he lost. Get over it.

How did she not win, it was so fun to see, and I was amazed by that bc after all these seasons and after all these lipsyncs being able to still be creative and innovative should be recognized and rewarded. Yvie is such an amazing performer and it's so sad she got treated so poorly (it showed even with the final edit)

I definitely think Raja was the intended winner of the lipsync, especially as it was for a title and cash prize. So Rupaul wasnt going to react to Yvie so that Raja could still win.

Ru was definitely pissed that Yvie pulled out stunts for an Aretha Franklin song. Its reminiscent of the "Natural Woman" lipsync with Latrice and Kenya Michaels.

I love yvie but it was a little bit clear that she wasn’t on the same level of some of the others. Especially with her runway outfits. Challenge wise she had some great moments though

I like Yvie, I really do. But as creative and crafty as she is, it's clear she's an outlier in the winner circle. She's a lipsync legend, but in every other category she doesn't fit the Drag Race winner mold. BUT, it's still awful that the judges made her feel less than the others on AS7.

I don't think Ru sees Yvie as bright as she used to back in her season. She won but she gets a lot of hate because of it. Fans are still mad that she won only having 1 win under her belt while Brooklynn Hytes got 3. And also she talks shit about Dragula ghouls not being drag queens doesn't sit right with me either. Yvie to me does not radiate winner aura and I don't really get the hype around her either.

Yvie is straight up mean to people and was on her season but never got any heat for it because she was "quirky" She's also extremely entitled.
