She is. What a dreadful even horrifically sad start to life she had. Tossed away unwanted into a field then left to rot in an orphanage for five long years. Breaks my heart. But oh to see her now, so well cared for is wonderful. 💗

Hi Ashley! It’s good to see you back. We look forward to your updates & love to see the progress your children are making. Izzie is doing so great & Mika is adorable as always. My oldest son also gets tutoring in reading which has done wonders for his confidence. He is hoping to get his driver’s license soon. The DMVs in our state just reopened & honestly they’re a mad house right now, so we’re holding off until things get less hectic. Our family shares many of your same values. My husband is a Federal Police Captain & we’ve been married for 18 years. I’m a stay at home mom as well to 2 boys, ages 15 & 16 (almost 17). We love how supportive & caring your family is to one another. Our boys attend public school, but with this virus concern & schools reopening in the fall, I’m considering homeschool options for them. Maybe you can share some homeschool tips you’ve found helpful. Also, is there a particular program you use? I’ve heard Abeka is a good one. Any other suggestions?

In the end in a video clip I thought she looked aLOT like her mom. I have seen that in other adopted children that they'll resemble a parent and it just tells me, God made that all happen, if that makes sense.

Isabel seems like a new child! She is so happy and lively! What a change that precious girl has made. Mika is just a doll, as usual :) You should consider making a shirt about adoption through Christ. Something like "Adopted by God" or "Adopted Child of God". We always tell people that adoption is so important because, after all, Christ allowed us to be adopted into his inheritance and become children of God.

Look in the newspaper for estate sales. You can get a car that's been garage-kept and maintained with barely any mileage. It sounds a little dark but when people pass away their families don't want or need all their stuff, except the real personal stuff, so they hire an estate company to sell everything off for them. Often times there is a nice, safe, sensible Granny or Grandpa car for sale for just what they owed, or if they paid for it outright then you can make an offer. Most times the car was used to run to Publix or the post office. Usually in pretty good condition.

My best friend has an autistic son and he has stemming behaviors. His pain tolerance is crazy high. Its like he doesnt feel pain. He broke his shoulder and his mom would have never known except for his lips turning white. He never cried at all. Hes broken his arm and carried on about his day until she realized it didnt look right!
