I had such similar feelings when I first attended SDCC in 2022 - it was a really . . . disheartening ? experience being sometimes surrounded by individuals that really had bad intentions. For 2023 I made it my mission to acquire as many con sticker pops as I could and sell them for retail - I know it was such a minor drop in the bucket - but it really helped me feel so much better after coming home from SDCC this year just knowing I put a little bit of goodness out in the world to combat some of the bad behavior!! Also just surrounding myself with as many GOOD people as I could at all moments at the con also just helped with it all. Loved this video!

First of all, thank you for watching! There is a very obvious distinction between the intentions of those who are there to collect & those who are there to resell. I think getting pops for retail and assisting others in the community is so important. I have my own opinions about flippers in general, but I think using box to gain an advantage just makes things even worse. It’s one thing charging more than retail because you woke up early and waited in a long line, but it’s very different when you cheated to get there.

Amazing video, I know about using bots for online purchases didn't know it was used for the fundays or funko booth lotteries. That's crazy to think we have to compete with that.

I don't have any rewinds yet, but I would instantly buy one for The Lion King. I'd love if they made Rafiki with his staff & the chase can be of him holding cub Simba.

To be honest with the whole buying bots thing, it ruins it for me because I really want that monkey D Luffy want poster and the only way to get it if I had to pay $90 or $129 to get it collecting these pops is my hobby, and helps me clear my mind

I agree! Unfortunately some people see our hobby as an opportunity to make money, so they take advantage and make things more difficult for collectors to find in stores
